I loved reading this one. I just love this kind of books.
4 stars read for me. I love this author snd her writing style.
Thanks to netgally for this arc.

It’s the first Marni Mann book I read, but it will not be the last one. It wasn’t the overly emotional kind of book, it was more like a fun, light read. The steamy kind of fun and light lol. Oh boy was it a hot one. The story was flowing, and although it had a relatively easy plot, not at all dramatic it was enjoyable. I loved it. I loved the characters. Easton is the total package, hot, reasonable, down to earth, and oh my! he even had his romantic moments. Love was just as smart, sassy and lovable. Together they were over the charts steamy, so steamy I could almost see the steam coming out of my kindle. I loved how their relationships developed through time, and I especially loved how Easton and Love stuck together when things got a little rough, how they didn’t let one another go. Marni got some major plus points from me, for not using the “characters breaking up right before the HEA” romance book clishe behind. I think my most favorite parts were the interactions of the main characters with their friends. Easton with Holden and Greyson, and Love with Sara. They could be fun, but also supportive till the end. I really hope I get to read the stories of Holden and Greyson.
So in conclusion. It was a good book, and please sign me up for more of this “world”

I just finished Mr. Hook-up and it was AMAZING!!!! It was different than her books, I've previously read, but ... it was also so so good. Marni delivers emotional and beautiful love story, that I couldn't put down from the first pages. It was an absolute page turner, with delicious chemistry and angst.
Easton, the hero is a really good man, and I love to see him that way. Totally refreshing character! He's caring and loving with his whole heart. He's also focused on his life's goals, and KNOWS exactly how to get anything he wants. Drake was this big surprise for me... She's hard working young woman who really doesn't need saving. She's honest and brave and I loved that in her.
Their relationship might be classified as insta love but author doesn't make anything easy. They had to deal with lot of things before they will find way to each other again, and author showed it in brilliant way. I loved romance but also how Marni is telling us thru the pages, that ife might be hard sometimes, but somewhere in the universe there's one perfect match for everyone, and it's worth to fight for Your own happiness.
I loved the story, I loved all the twists and especially how Dreake and Easton together.

A very paced, spicy and an an intensely interesting read. Mann knows how to deliver it, and I’m all here for it

An easy read with likable characters. I enjoyed the storyline and the lack of drama between our MCs. The relationship and attraction was believable and I was rooting for them from the beginning. The balance of story and spice was just right. I would have liked a bit more depth or have scene some character development, but I dont think the lack of it took away from the story and don't believe that was the goal of the author for this book.

“There’s a reason we matched perfectly. I’m destined to figure out why that is.”
Mr. Hook-Up was fast, breezy read with a fun storyline and characters. Easton and Drake were instantly drawn to each other and I loved watching their relationship develop. Their connection was intense and their chemistry was off-the charts.
“It wasn’t like we were anything, but Love and I were something. Something that mattered to me.”
I will admit that I struggled with the first part of the book because of the tone of the messages. The hiii drove me crazy, and I had trouble relating it to the characters I came to know in the second half of the book.
“It’s been you this whole time.”
The second half of the book was great and engaging. I was completely immersed in the attraction between Easton and Drake and their fun, flirty banter. I loved how they supported one another and talked through their issues and actually listened to one another.
I enjoyed Mr. Hook-Up and found it to be lighthearted with a bit of angst and the steam was hot and spicy. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

I wanted to read something light after finishing a heavy book and this was perfect. The story is split into two parts and part 1 felt kinda insta love-y with a fair amount of spice and not a lot of character development. However part 2 really made up for it and I loved the second chance, workplace romance. We got to know so much more about the characters and I liked that in this section the chapters rotated perspectives. The side plot about the app got really entertaining and I couldn’t look away from the drama. The last quarter of the book was so good I hope there ends up being more books in this series.

I love Marin Mann’s writing and this book was no exception - Drake and Easton were strong and fierce main characters and I loved Eastons soft side.
The spicy scenes were as always some of my favourite.
I hope we get to hear Hudson and Greyson’s stories too.

As someone who met her husband on a dating app, i LOVED this book! Such a fun read! This was my first book by Marni and it definitely won’t be my last!

Easton and his friends created an app to help them hook up without all the fuss. When he matches someone who is an, almost impossible, 100% match he is eager to see if their online banter translates into real life chemistry.
I have read, and enjoyed, books by Mann in the past (there is even a cameo from the Dalton Brothers series) so I was eager to start this book. She didn’t disappoint.
There was plenty of spice and you were dragged along with them as they pined for each other over the years. Their chemistry was good and I’m guessing/hoping that there is going to be more books with the other members of the company, which I will eagerly read.
Thanks to #NetGallery and the publisher. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’ve been looking forward to this book since reading a sneak peak of chapter 1 in The Bachelor and it did not disappoint!
There were a few twists and turns I didn’t see coming, so definitely try not to read any spoilers before you start reading.
In true Marni style it’s very steamy and a beautiful HEA.
I liked both the main characters and was rooting for them the whole way.
I would have loved to read an epilogue but received an early ARC so am hoping there might be one in the final version of the book. I’m intrigued by what Grayson and Holden’s stories might be and hope we get those soon too!
Thank you to the author and Netgalley for this early ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This book wasn't for me.
I felt like it was written by someone a lot younger than me with different ideas of how adults act and what they say. It might be the perfect book for some people but, unfortunately, not for me.
DNF at 30%

A steamy book but very much a cliché - not that this is a bad thing! I wanted more from the characters but maybe that just me.

Marni Mann is a favorite author of mine and I was SO excited to receive an early copy of this title. It was quick, fun and spicy which is what I always expect from Marni. I love a workplace forbidden romance and this was the perfect spicy read. Highly recommend this title and ALLL of Marni's backlist!!!

Looks like boys will be boys, and to help a group of them create a no-strings hook-up app aptly named Hooked. Usage if free for a limited period after which users have to provide their personal details including payment details.
Drake creates a profile and finds a 100% match - something noone expected! Unknown to her, her 100% match Easton is one of the founders of the app. Their chemistry if off the charts. Hot. Hot. Hot. After the free period on the app, Love stops using it. As she never provided her personal details, there is no way for Easton, even as the founder, to find out who she is.
Roll forward five years and they meet again.
Somewhat predictable, but still an enjoyable a read!!

I really really wanted to love this book. However, I just don’t think it was for me. I’ve heard good things about this author and always see her book recommended so I was a little disappointed.
The first part just didn’t work. I was not interested or invested in their story and found myself wanting to DNF to be honest. The way it was laid out, whilst I understand the concept just felt cringe 😬.
The second part, whilst it did massively improve was still missing something? The chemistry just didn’t feel believable and the spice started of pretty much straight away!
I found myself skimming through a lot of this just to get it finished. I can’t say that I would be wanting to read rest of the series should there be😩

Marni Mann can do no wrong. I adored this book. The steam was incredible and the plot was fun. I loved the little cameos from her The Dalton Family series too! I read this in a day and was immediately hooked. This pulled me right out of my reading slump.
Thank you NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Mr. Hook-Up is about a group of college boys who can’t be bothered to pick up girls at bars any more and so they create a tinder-like app where the users can say if they are looking for love or just looking for one night of fun. It works perfectly until one of the co-creators finds a 100% match and hooks up with her. She ghosts him and five years later walks back into his life as his new employee.
This book was less spicy and had more plot than I anticipated when I picked it up. It’s definitely a good read but something to pick up when you just want to escape for a while.
4/5 stars
Thank you so much to Montlake and NetGalley for this free e-arc in exchange for my honest opinions.

I love this author and she did not disappoint with this new book!
Easton and his two best friend designs an app for the ideal one-night stand. Easton meets his perfect match, through the app but she disconnects from the app and vanishes.
I loved the main characters, and it had the perfect amount of spice. You will see some characters from Marni's previous books which I LOVE when authors do this!
Read this book you will NOT be disappointed.

I really loved every book that I've read so far from Marni Mann. She's one of my favorite authors! ❤️
Easton and his friends are the founders of an app called Hooked and that's where he anonymously met a girl. They matched with a compatibility score of 100% and wanted to explore their connection further.
After a while, they met up on a masked ball and had an one-night stand. After that, she disappeared and changed her number. Now, 5 years they see each other again because he is her new boss..
Thank you to Netgalley, Marni Mann and the publisher for providing me with this copy. All opinions are my own.
