I enjoyed this book, it is a bit of an insta love which isn’t my favorite but this author writes really good spice, it was a fun, quick read

Reunited lovers have all the steamy passion and angst with all the drama and love. Loved this book from a new author to me and can’t wait to run and read all her others!!

I loved this story. We briefly met Easton in the Bachelor book and it was great to see him as the star of this book .
The story starts five years ago and lets us inside the creation of the Hooked app. and introduces us to Love, Easton's match on hooked. Fast forward 5 years and both are now successful in their right and Easton and Drake can now act on the incredible chemistry that they both felt years ago and it is explosive. I could not put this book down and was a little sad when it ended, I hope that there is more to come from the Hooked team

Marni Mann is a new-to-me author and when the opportunity became available to give this one a read, I decided to go for it. This book is written in 2 parts. Part 1 is when the anonymous hook up takes place. Part 2 takes place 6 years later. So my review will be regarding the two parts.

I hated Part 1 and almost DNF'd the book midway through reading this part. I got so tired of reading 'Hiiii' every time "Love" would start a conversation. What was she, 12? You know the Cricket Wireless commercials where the character says "Hiiii. Okay, byyyye?" Well that's what I pictured every time Love would over-exaggerate her hi in chat (and even later in phone calls). She was supposedly 21 or 22, yet she spoke like a teen, and that got real old real quick. I just couldn't match the character with the words coming out of her mouth. I had no issues with Easton in Part 1, it was just Love that I couldn't connect with.

Part 2 was much better and I'm glad I gave it a fighting chance. It was fairly low angst, no huge blow-ups or misunderstanding that break Easton & his girl apart like most romances. I liked them as a couple, although I think this part was still heavy on the s3x and lacking a bit in the relationship department. I'm all for lots of heat, but when it comes at the expense of character and relationship development, I'm not a fan. Most of the relationship takes place behind closed doors so to speak, so we don't really get to see them out in the real world. The epilogue was a bit of a disappointment since it took place just a month or so after the last chapter and didn't give us a glimpse into their present day life outside of their work. It was more of a HFN instead of HEA look-ahead.

I think I'll probably read the next book in the series though since I liked both Holden & Grayson and assume they'll get their HEA later on.

Hooked is an app that is designed for people to find one night stands. Created by Easton, a Harvard graduate, and his friends purely out of the need for them to find quick and easy hookups. When Easton matches with Love at 100% that is unheard of. When he talks to her and hooks up with her, he realizes that they are meant to be and he is willing to risk it all. Fast forward 5 years and Hooked is hiring. Drake Madden comes in for her interview and Easton can't figure out where he knows her from. Then, out of the blue, Love reappears and asks to meet up an explain why she ghosted Easton all those years ago.

This book had such a big twist that you will not expect. The passion between Easton/Mr. Boston, and Love is insane and they knew it was different than anything they had felt in the past. I knew something was up when Drake came in for the interview and Easton was shocked it was a girl. I just knew that it was someone from his past. The twist at the end was unexpected by also predictable if you think about Easton's friend who ended up leaving to go to face frame. Overall, I really loved this story and it definitely brought the spice.

I just discovered Marni Mann about a month ago and blew through the Dalton Family series, finishing the Bachelor recently. Normally when I see books on Netgalley that will probably be Kindle Unlimited books, I pass until they are released, but I couldn't pass up the new Marni Mann book!

It took embarrassingly long for me to realize the big lawsuit Declan and Camden worked on in the Bachelor is Hooked vs. Faceframe from Mr. Hook-Up. It clicked when Declan and Camden show up with the guys travel to California and I was so excited for the crossover. But loved seeing those two again, albeit briefly.

I really enjoyed this fun and sexy book. I appreciated the detail Marni went into on the how Drake and Easton initially met, and the conversations and interactions up until Drake disappears from Easton's life. I also liked that the first sexy scene was early on, none of this slow burn business. It had everything I could have wanted in a book, and if I didn't have to work today, I would have stayed up late to finish it last night.

I wish I could give this book 10 stars based on the fact that when Drake realized who Easton was, she didn't keep that information to herself. She didn't go through any hi jinx, she actually communicated it the next day like a mature adult. Then, when Drake was accused of sharing Hooked's secrets with Faceframe, Easton had her back and knew it wasn't true from the beginning since he knew her character. That showed a mature and healthy relationship. And Drake, as a mature adult, understood the investigation needed to happen and didn't pout. I can't even tell you how many times I've DNF'd a book because everything could have been fixed with communication or faith in your partner. This storyline had substance.

I can't wait for Grayson's and Holden's books! And Saara, but my prediction is she'll end up with Holden in his book and become a stepmom to Belle. Or tame Grayson's playboy ways and they can be enemies to lovers.

Romance found, lost, found again within the IT start-up world. Looking for a hook-up is the goal, but he gets a lot more than that. A fun romance for the vacation or weekend.

I was not able to put down this book once I read the first sentence. The story was charming and easy to follow. The characters were believable.
