Super funny idea to share good vibes throughout the day of the ones you love (especially your children).
The book is made of pages to tear off and leave around where your dear can find it. On those pages there are inspiring quotes, a space to doodle or write your messages... I mean it's a really cute idea!
Notes To Share is another great instalment from the Rebel Girls team. I found this book to be an empowering, educational and enlightening read. I loved the quotes, laughed at the jokes and loved the affirmations that I found adding to my reading journal quite frequently.
I also loved sharing this with my friends and family.
From New York Times, this is full of fun notes to share. It's got quotes, jokes, and even affirmations. This is like a tear-and-share of caring! Great ways to inspire the minds around you. I can think of a lot of fun ways to use these cute little notes. They bring so much joy! Full of greatness and positive messages.
We have a lot of rebel Girls books in store. This is a nice idea and the messages are a consistent reminder of the women pioneering pathways so that all women can be recognised for their accomplishments. Because, it is not the case that there are only a few women achievers, it's more the case that so few of the great things that women have done have been documented, resulting in too few role models to inspire and instill a level of confidence that makes girls realise just how capable they are.
This is a cute tear away book with messages of inspiration and encouragement, that can be included in their lunchbox or backpack. Think of it as the Black History Moments for children.
I loved everything about this book.
I find the books in the Rebel Girls series to be fantastic for young adults and adults and often provoke great discussions. Keep publishing more!
Another great book to give young people an inspiring start at writing down wishes, hopes, ideas, and day-to-day activities and accomplishments! Keep up the inspiration Rebel Girls!
This book would make a great gift for someone in the position to encourage "rebel" girls. Every girl deserves to find one of these notes, quotes, or jokes in her book bag, lunch bag, or under her pillow. Colorful and inspiring - these are just the think to brighten some tween or teen girl's day.
I can't get enough of Rebel Girls. Their stories show that anyone can have strengths and that we can still respect and love the people around us while achieving our dreams.
The Rebel Girls books also let girls know that there are so many kinds of dreams! This book has a lot of quotes from successful women, with lots of jokes, mostly puns. Of course, what makes it different is the fact that there are notes you can write in support of other Rebel Girls. Overall, a very wonderful and positive experience.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
This delightful book charmed me! I appreciate its variety, not just with fill-in-the-blanks but also featuring jokes, facts, and quotes to bring laughter, inspiration, and motivation to kids. The flexibility to customize for different occasions or create a daily practice for a year is a fantastic idea. The ability to pick and choose based on your child's needs each day adds a thoughtful touch, making it a perfect resource for sending little reminders of care and connection.
Notes to Share is a selection of over 300 notes which you could slip into your child's school bag or lunchbox for them to find throughout the day. The notes contain a selection of quotes, affirmations, jokes and fun facts all centered around positivity and female empowerment.
I absolutely love this idea and I know as a child seeing which card my mum had packed would definitely have been a highlight of my day. I loved the illustrations and how bright and vibrant all the colours were. I thought it was great that a wide range of women were included for the quotes and fact cards so every girl would be able to see herself represented through these notes.
I would recommend this to any parent who has a primary school aged girl!
Thank you to NetGallery and Rebel Girls (publisher) for the temporary ARC that I received in return for my honest review..
This is a fun book to read, cover to cover, and probably also a fun book to actually use as suggested; ripping out the pages and sharing them with your friends. There are wise/inspirational quotes from well-known women; Mini-biographies of inspiring women; Inspirational thoughts to give to a friend; Sentences to fill out and give to a friend; riddles the answers to which are puns/plays on words. This last I was not too fond of, because they were pretty silly, i.e. "How does singer Gloria Estefan compose music? Answer: She uses a notepad". They are all like that. The book is colorful, full of lovely illustrations and graphics and could be fun to use truly the way it is conceived. Or just read it and share the whole book with you friends.
Full of quote, jokes and fun facts, as well as notes to add to yourself, these inspirational pages could easily be added to a child’s desk, pencil case or lunchbox to make them smile throughout the day. The bright contrasting colours make them really eye catching and the quotes and facts chosen are enough to inspire many young girls.
My kids are still a bit too young for most of these Rebel Girls Note to Share. I think these would be perfect for a fourth or fifth grade girl though. Our family did enjoy the fill in the blank notes. My second grader absolutely loves notes in her lunch box. Thanks to net galley and the publisher for allowing me to preview an electronic version of this book!
This was such a fun book to flip through! There are tons of cute notes, facts, activities, and jokes. the illustrations are fun and they seem to be a great size to slip into lunch boxes. I’m a big fan of Rebel Girls books in general and am glad I gave this one a try as well.
This is a tear-and-share book. It has fill-in notes, punny jokes, fun facts about women and girls featured in the Rebel Girls series, and my favorite part, quotes from some of those women. Very cute.
The book has a lot of heart and inspiration. I loved the idea and definitely adored the illustrations!

A Kickstarter campaign and the publication of Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls funded the famous company’s first project. The book has then broken records and created a series that fans adore!

I smiled when I opened this book because it reminded me of the written notes my mom sent to me at camp or ones she’d sneak into my lunch bag. Hers were in blue ink and often hard to read, but I appreciated every single one.
Mom would have loved this new title from Rebel Girls. It’s filled with inspiring quotes from female athletes, entertainers, and historical figures. Also included are jokes and uplifting thoughts to bring smiles and warmth to your own child.
Each of the more than 180 notes are illustrated and easy to tear out. Enough to get you through the entire school year! Perfect for girls, ages 7-12, I’m hoping Rebel Girls will plan on more NOTES TO SHARE.
