This story was cute and sweet and a great way to teach manners while also representing what diverse families can look like. Loved the representation and the language used was age appropriate and well done
Ryan LeKodak's I Want, So I Ask: From Papa & Daddy is a clever way for pre-schoolers to learn about manners. I enjoyed this sweet story where twins reinforce their "please and thank you" skills. Adorable.
I enjoyed IrPan Budi's colorful, cheerful, and charming illustrations.
This book is really sweet and beautifully drawn. It follows a day in the life of twins CJ and DJ learning to ask for things. My 3 year old twins loved it!!

A delightful children's book that captures the hearts of both children and parents alike. Through its endearing characters, CJ and DJ, this beautifully illustrated book teaches young readers the importance of expressing their desires in a polite and respectful manner.
The story follows the twins as they navigate a day filled with requests, showcasing the power of using gentle words and expressing gratitude. The phrases "Can I please..." and "Thank you" become the twins' secret weapons, allowing them to communicate effectively with their parents while maintaining a sense of calm and respect.
This book is a super cute and fun way to show kids how to ask politely for the things they want! I absolutely love how it is inclusive, for showing a family with two dads! The story was easy to read and is perfect for a new reader. The pictures are bright and colorful, which makes it engaging as well! It is a good book to have on hand while discussing manners.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
