This is my first Lisa Jewells read. It is set in two time periods which took me some time to get used to. Betty's story is set in the 1990s and Arlettes story is set in the 1920s.
I've got to say it was an ok read for me. Unfortunately it didn't grab me straight away and I wasn't thinking about it when not reading it. I will however be looking to read more from this author.
