Wow, I’m at a loss for words. The Space Between was an emotional rollercoaster of feelings; happy, angry, heartbreaking with devastating betrayals, forgiveness and love. Andi and Jace come from two different worlds but their love overcomes all their obstacles and struggles. It’s been awhile since a story has tugged on my heartstrings and made me cry. I’d highly recommend this book. Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Holy cow, this book! It broke me! I just finished it, and I don't know what to do with myself right now. I stayed up until 4 am reading. I woke up at 6 to get ready for work, and had to start reading again. Called in sick to work! Sobbed!! Considered calling my husband home from work because I was an emotional wreck. And yet it still has a happy ending. All that to say-Read it, but buckle up!! And cancel all plans for the next 24 hours;) Thank you Netgalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

An emotionally provoking, coming of age love story that will captivate and crush your heart. A three-timeline book told in alternating views. A little more hers than his.

Andrea and Jace are from completely opposite worlds — one a socialite from Upper East Side New York and the other an orphaned musical prodigy from the Bronx. They meet by fate one day in a park as teenagers. Andrea had never felt more seen by anyone before and Jace never more inspired than he was with her. Deciding that their love can beat the odds, Andi leaves behind her family and their carefully planned future for her to follow Jace and his brothers on tour. Everything was blissfully perfect, until it wasn’t. The pressure on the road drives them apart and soon Andrea was on her way back to the city and Jace on his way to fame without her.

Five years later, his love never fading, Jace returns to New York to find Olivia — only a day before her wedding. It is clear that their hearts will always belong to each other, but her life is promised to another. And so we are taken on Olivia’s journey into that life to experience what happens in the space between. Twisting and turning again and again, before finally arriving at the end.

I don’t know many authors who can start a novel as YA then deeply and effectively develop all characters into a real adult romance by the end, with minimal spice. Ready masterfully weaves the most devastating and tender details of life in this novel. Carefully unraveling all the tragic moments that influenced the outcome of this heart-wrenching tale of true love. You will find yourself rooting for every character in this story to have their happily ever after.

I've started to read this book several times, but I really don't like how the story present itself.
It's like reading all the elements that will spoiler the plot since the very beginning and it kind of ruins the rest.
I'm really disappointed, since Josh and Gemma make a baby is one of my favorite romance, but this one (as Josh and Gemma the second time around) seems not my cup of tea..

Where is the sparkle I've seen in Josh and Gemma?
Difficult to find now..

This is a good book. The two main characters are Andi and Jace. When they were seventeen, they meet in Central Park. There was an instant attraction. They both thought that they were their everything. Andi comes a very fluent family. Jace’s parents were killed, he has his older brothers. Jace’s family has started a band and are going touring. Jace asked Andi to go on tour, she does, but they break up. Several years later they meet again.. they fall in love again.

While interesting, this story did have sections that were slower and potentially unnecessary. There were many times I considered not finishing. The characters were not super likeable or easy to connect with. Overall the book was alright, but not my favourite.

Before this book I had never read a book by Sarah Ready. But this book stole the show for me! I was hooked within a few chapters. This book follows Jace and Andrea. They met one day in Central Park and knew they were meant to be. Andrea was born into a wealthy family and has to abide by her familys rules. In come Jace who sees her for who she truly is. Jace is a musical star who has hopes to see the world with his brothers.
This book is an opposites attract romance which I always eat up. But it was more than a romance. It's the story of heartbreak and how your heart can be put back together. I loved getting to read about Jace and Andrea's love blossoming. I can't wait to read more from Sarah Ready!

Wow this book was just breathtaking! It was the first of if this author and it did NOT disappoint!
Andrea was born to a wealthy family and has to adhere to the expectations and drama, while Jace is a music prodigy who isn’t as fortunate and will do anything for him and his family to make it big and take care of them.
No one approves of their relationship and they go through SO much - and that twist OMG.

I do wish there was more time from Jace’s POV though- I felt like it was more geared towards Andrea’s!

Thank you to NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.

Andi meets Jace in the park and their love affair begins. On the surface, Andi and Jace are absolute opposites and their romance shouldn't work. But for them, it is true love. Jace is busy trying to get his family band discovered. Andi is trying to decide who she is when her family isn't making all the decisions for her. And in one night, it all comes crashing down. Andi finds Jace with another woman and that is the end of their love story. Or is it? Andi races back to New York and gives her family's life another try. How bad could it all be? She is presented with a unique situation that ends up being life changing. Will Jace and Andi's path cross again?
I thoroughly loved The Space Between by Sarah Ready! Well written, kept me guessing, heart-felt, good story-telling. I will be recommending The Space Between to my other reading buddies and would love to read other works by Ready. Even through everything, I was always rooting for Andi's happiness. I am so glad she was able to get the life she so deserved. Special thanks to NetGalley, Sarah Ready, and W.W. Crown, Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), Members' Titles for the advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest opinion.
5 stars for me!

The Space Between by Sarah Ready is the story of a love that keeps hitting bumps in the road. Timing is everything and timing never seems to work for the couple in this book. The book traces their story over a long period of time. I love the books I’ve read previously by this author and I could not wait to read this book. I was surprised to find that I did not like this book as much. I found the characters incredibly frustrating and slightly irritating. Overall, the story was fine and I will definitely still read other books by this author. I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

I absolutely adored reading this book! It was angsty, romantic and such a page turner! The story is about a rich girl in disguise falling in love with a musician from a tough neighborhood and must I say did it give the troupe justice! Jace and Andy meet and they're sure they're meant to be but time and situations keeps pulling them apart (there's several time skips and in the final time skip we find the ending we were all waiting for!). It was sweet, surprisingly softer and a better read than I expected for a YA romance and I like the fact there were plot twists that had me in my emotions! Beautifully executed!

I can sit here and read all the Sarah Ready's books in a go. There is a weird sense of comfort in the book which I somehow am unable to describe. After French Holiday, I had high hopes with this one and it was not let down at all! The space between sent me into a turmoil of emotions - from grief to having warmth and a smile. A must read for second chances reomance lovers!

Wow! What a story! Andrea is a pawn in her rich father's empire. To escape, she people watches in Central Park, where she encounters a busker named Jace whose songs make her heart soar.

They come from completely different worlds, yet there's an immediate soul connection between the two of them that neither can deny. But circumstances (and people) keep conspiring to push them apart.

This story includes many of the elements I enjoy in a sweet romance:
- Love at first sight
- Found family
- Challenges to overcome
- A willingness to fight for what you want

I recently heard that you need the right time, the right place, and the right circumstances for a romance to work out. Miss any of those elements, and it's not going to work.

That's exactly what happened with Andrea and Jace. It took a lot of time and living before they were able to get all three right, but what a story they had to share! One of my favorite books this year.

Thank you to Sarah Ready, W. W. Crown, and NetGalley for an advance review copy. I'm truly grateful!

This is a review of the audiobook.

Review of “The Space Between” by Sarah Ready.

This book… I mean, I’m used to getting amazing, mature and deep stories from Sarah Ready, which I’ve all loved so much, but this one was so beautiful and touching and meaningful. I loved it so much.

Andrea and Jace are both such amazing characters, well-written and the journey they take throughout the book is emotional and inspirational and I loved reading about them. All of the other characters were so well-done as well. I felt every emotion.

Make sure to read this if you’re into romance books that have so much plot to them! It’s really romance on a whole other level ♥️

This is my second Sarah Ready book and she really knows how to tell a story!

Get your tissues though. This one is going to definitely make you cry. What an emotional rollercoaster…but in a good way!

You get to meet Andi and Jace when they are young and both are trying to figure out who they are and what they love. They both want to belong and be loved. Then they are torn apart and it.is.captivating.

I loved their character development and their thoughtfulness. I loved their vulnerability and their realness. I also really loved how family dynamics, betrayal, and grief are explored.

This one will grip you and take you on quite the emotional ride but I recommend it.
Also, once you’ve read it please DM me because I need to chat with someone about Reid.

Thank you to my partner, NetGalley, and the author. I appreciate the gifted eARC and audiobook, and I am leaving this review voluntarily!

1. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 - It seemed to me that this story was an allusion to The Outsiders. A classic story kind of reimagined and Ready knocked it out of the park!

2. 𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝑼𝒏𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅 - Always finish what you start. It often seems that if the words were spoken, many things would be resolved without the heartache.

3. 𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝑨𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑺𝒆𝒆 - So many times our eyes see things that aren’t true. Maybe our brains are wired to see the worst possible scenarios. Take the time to take that second glimpse.

4. 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑰𝒕’𝒔 𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑻𝒐 𝑩𝒆 - Jace and Andi are that quintessential couple that will have every reader grasping for their happiness together.

5. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑾𝒆 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏 - The underlying reason for Andi’s decisions later in the story is so heart-wrenchingly powerful. Sometimes in life we have to make sacrifices for the things that we know hold importance over everything else.

I finished this book a while ago and it’s still imprinted on my mind. This is hands down 5 stars. The story and timeline kept me gripped in a chokehold the entire time and I could not get enough. The emotions I felt were one of the best literary rollercoasters I’ve ever been on.
