I quite like short stories, and this book didn’t disappoint, and believe me when I say it, there isn’t vengeance like the vengeance come true by an Asian ghost. I quite enjoyed this set of stories, the basic premise is that friends are telling this stories, but each story feels complete and offers an ending, and that was quite enjoyable.

At first I thought I could recommend to an younger audience like in the tales of the crypt style but there’s some adult themes, there’s rape in one of the stories, and violence, so I would advice from young adults up. If like me, you like Asian stories, horror stories, ghosts, karma coming back to bit you, then this book is for you.

Thank you NetGalley and BooksGoSocial, for the free ARC and this is my honest opinion.

Really good horror stories. The atmosphere is creepy and erriee. I couldn't read at night if I was home alone. Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book

Thanks to the publisher for an advanced copy of this book.

This was my first read from David Bond, and I didn't realize the book was the third in a series that revolved around 6 kids who meet in a graveyard to tell scary stories. I felt like I had missed out on getting to know the characters but that's probably because I didn't read the earlier books.

All in all the stories were fine, if not a little silly at times. I think this book is geared for a younger audience than me, however, I generally enjoy reading anthology ghost story books written in the style of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, since that is my favorite series from my childhood. I wasn't in love with Bond's writing style and probably will not continue reading the author, but I think these books would appeal to youngsters who enjoy reading ghost stories set in other countries.

The first half of these stories are fantastic. Really scary and gruesome. But the second half is rather disappointing. Thanks to NetGalley for a digital copy

Well, I thought this would be a little different and looked forward to the setting in Thailand. And I would have enjoyed it if I'd been looking for a series of stories apparently written by teenage boys for a school assignment. The standard of English was particularly poor - the wrong use of words, poor idiom and efforts to shock such as 'the traffic on the Boulevard was as tight as a virgin's pudenda' - please! It doesn't even create the right image! The author tried to shoehorn the stories to have a common theme 'a graveyard' but in several cases it was clearly an afterthought, rammed in to fit the brief.

The premise is friends in a graveyard telling tales, but the result is just a poor collection. A few had merit in content, but not in presentation. I dislike the use of present tense for stories at the best of times, and in this case none of it worked well. Very disappointing.

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for allowing me access to the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It isn't often that I pick up a horror anthology outside of spooky season so when this was a read now I jumped at it, and I wasn't at all disappointed.
Each story had me spooked and I loved them all. I would heavily recommend this to all.

5 stars

This is an anthology of horror stories all written by David Bond all set in Thailand and all about graveyards some are better than others one I found really silly. Having said all that all 11 or worth reading I love story set in other countries especially from those like Mr. Bon who is deeply immersed in the culture this is definitely a four star read in one any horror fan would love to have in the library. This is part of a Series but are just short stories that can definitely be read on the Rhône only the part about the six kids in the cemetery is a moving story. I received this book from NetGalley and a publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes because I am blind and dictate my review.
