Thank you netgalley for this lovely dog friendly read. This was such a fun easy read, if you love dogs this is a book for you. There could have been more dept to the characters but defiantly a 3*.
What girl would not want a handsome billionaire to rescue them? You have to love faking dating romcom, I really cannot get enough of them. This story had all the feels, including lovable dogs and so much more. The connection between the two main characters so cute. If only there was so sweet billionaire out there. Well, this story will give you hope are the dream of the possibilities. ;) This is my first book by this author but not my last, the story was funny, romantic and so wholesome. Fast read that will keep you interested till the very end.
Thank you to NetGalley and Elewyn Publishing for a copy for my honest review.
She’s a wholesome dog photographer who houses refuge dogs, he’s a billionaire movie star with a reputation as an asshole. Can they turn a viral chance encounter into something that’s beneficial to both of them?
IMO Maisie is living the dream. She’s got a house on the beach where she lives with eight dogs that all somehow are well enough trained that they actually listen to what she says and seem to have human personalities. Honestly, the dogs made this book for me. They were so cute and sweet and all the background characters we needed.
While the third act break up was a bit of a meh, I enjoyed the book and believed in their chemistry. It was kinda awkward (on her side) but it still sucked me in and I wanted to see where they were going.
Thanks to #NetGallery and the publisher. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Really good book for a quick afternoon read.
I love the dog parts, but overall and didn't love this book. But it was a good read and I had a good laugh
Overall a cute read - I enjoyed the dogs (because I do love dogs) as well as the fake dating trope. The characters were both likable and I always like to flip back and forth between perspectives. This wasn't the type of book that will stick with me for the ages but it was what I needed for summer afternoon reading in a hammock to relax.
Overall this was a short and sweet read. I enjoyed the storyline ... I liked the characters but the dogs were even better. A good summer read!
Thank you to NetGalley and Elewyn Publishing for the E-ARC.

If you love fake dating and billionaire stories then I'm sure this is the book for you, but it just wasn't the book for me. The dynamic between the main characters and the dogs was great but I couldn't get into Maisie and Brad. The storyline was a bit predictable but it was a short book so an ok quick read.
Did you see that dog on the cover? That woman? And that man? Gosh.
I love a good Fake Dating Trope. I live sunshine characters. I love a good animal lover, a funny and cute dog. I love an old money into modern days. So what more I can say?
I purely loved it. It was so sweet, so funny, so nice, so cute. Aaaah, loved it!
I loved this story so much! But of course, I'm not surprised because the title insinuated that it had two of my favorite tropes - billionaires and fake dating! This was a quick, fun story and I loved it so much! The three (yes, three) main characters were so great to read. The third, being the dogs of course! I cant wait to read more from this series and author!
This was such a great funny Rom-Com that made me laugh out loud at times! It is the first in a new series called Must Love Dogs and the dogs are a main character as well in this book. I absolutely fell in love with this book! Not just the characters but the whole book! 5 stars! I can't wait to read the next book!
I just reviewed My Billionaire Fake Boyfriend by Jennifer St. James. #MyBillionaireFakeBoyfriend #NetGalley

I rather liked this book! It was not too mushy and both MC's were likeable. Maisie loves all of her dogs, they are rescues and have their own personalities. She lives in her late grandparents' house on the beach and has financial issues, but neighbor Brad to the rescue. I like the 'fake dating' trope.
This book is a delightful summer read for dog lovers and fans of fake dating tropes. It's a perfect choice for those looking for a light and enjoyable beach read that doesn't require too much investment.
The story effortlessly combines the love for dogs with the excitement of a fake dating scenario. The charming protagonist's journey, along with their adorable canine companions, creates a heartwarming and endearing narrative.
Although the plot may not be overly developed, it offers a pleasant and entertaining escape. The book manages to capture the essence of summer, romance, and the special bond between humans and their furry friends.
The writing style is engaging, making it easy to breeze through the pages. The setting, likely a coastal or beach town, adds to the overall appeal and evokes a sense of relaxation and vacation vibes.
While the book may not delve deep into complex themes or character development, it provides a feel-good reading experience that is perfect for unwinding and enjoying some light-hearted storytelling.
In conclusion, this book offers an enjoyable blend of dog lovers and fake dating, making it an ideal choice for a quick and delightful summer beach read. It's a great option for those seeking a light and fun escape with a touch of romance and canine companionship.
This is a super cute, charming, 🌶️. fake dating romance between a billionaire actor and a pet photographer. Lots of very cute dogs make an appearance too.
Under 300 pages - perfect if you’re looking for a quick read.
As an aside, as I Clevelander, I really love that Maisie is from Cleveland, and especially love the shoutout to our metroparks!
This book was enjoyable. It has one of my favorite tropes, fake dating, and dogs in abundance. I wanted more tension and more consistent pacing, but overall enjoyable and quick read
Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this book.
I enjoyed this story. Nice beachy read for summer vacation. The characters were fun, the dogs were great.
This was a short and sweet romance novel, and if you are a fan of the fake dating trope, then this one is worth checking out. I love that the dogs in the book was a big part of this book– as a dog person myself, I love anything with dogs in it. One thing I will point out is that I wished the characters were explored a little more, given some more development outside of the romance plot line, because I didn't end up caring for the characters at all.
2 stars.
Thank you NetGalley and Elewyn Publishing for providing me with a copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest book review.
I was really hoping to enjoy this book, but, sadly, it just didn’t work out. The premise of the story is very sweet and who doesn’t love a dog in the mix? However, the pacing of the story felt off to me. Some parts dragged for too long while others happened too quickly. I also couldn’t relate or connect with the characters. So regardless of their actions, I just didn’t care for the outcome. The writing is well done, but the pacing and character development just weren’t for me. I’m sure there may be others who will have a fun time reading this book.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Author for the ARC.
This review is spoiler free.
This is what you call a Book for in between. It's light, lovely and doesn't take up much time to read. This is the kind of Book you read in between reading heavy fantasy books with a lot of plot and world building and it is perfect for that. I really enjoyed the Book it was funny and sweet the plot wasn't that deep but there were dogs a loooooot of them and that makes up for it in my opinion. Also the Book contains one of my favorite tropes the fake dating trope. And I am going to be honest I don't think I would have loved this book half as much if there weren't any dogs in it.
Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC of this book.
This was a quick and cute romance book. It did have one of my favorite tropes in it though, fake dating! The book didn't really got too much in depth with the characters but it was nice chill read. It's your usual billionaire, fake dating book and I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed that the dogs played a big part of the book. I love with animals are in the books I read. A definite 3* read! :)
Masie inherited a house next door to Brad. When a photo of them together is shared, fake dating seems like a good idea, but what will happen for these opposites when it starts to feel real? A fun read.
