Review: This is the first book in TL Swan's new Kingston Lane series. This was a great setup, and look into this new world. I can't wait for more! First up, we have Juliet and Henley.
Juliet is a nurse who just bought her dream home, in need of renovations galore. Henley just so happens to be her infuriating new neighbor, oh, and the man who slighted her. The back and forth between these two! The banter! Oh my gosh, I wanted to strangle Henley multiple times. He was a slow learner, and I think Juliet should have made him work more for it, but they made it to their HEA. Juliet was the woman for him with her patience and ability to identify when he put those walls up. She was the only one who could take her hammer to them. Barry may have stolen the show a few times. Henley's reaction to him was THE BEST! Love him! I enjoyed the side characters and the laughs and drama they added. I am really hoping that Rebecca and Blake are next.😏🤞 Blake is something else and not normally my cup of tea, but I am SOOOOO ready for this man to fall!😁
Ms Swan is always a one click author for me and this story does not disappoint. Juliet and Henley had a brief relationship many years before she moves to her new house only to discover that Henley is her new neighbor. A man she never forgot but also never wanted to see again. Henley is emotionally damaged and you will love watching the development of their new relationship. Cannot wait to read the story’s of the other characters on Kingston Lane we meet in this story!
Entering T.L. Swan's Kingston Lane series, I immersed myself in a world of luxury, desire, and romance. Juliet Drinkwater's first encounter with Henley James is mesmerizing, with undeniable chemistry. While Juliet's inner thoughts had me laughing, the repetitive nature of their exchanges became a bit tiresome for my liking. It's a quick and engaging read with scorching chemistry, and I was left wanting more and felt the ending was a bit rushed. Nonetheless, I eagerly await the next book in the series.
Absolutely love this book from start to finish I was hooked the characters are so well written I actually felt like I knew them the storyline was written so well I didn’t want it to end.you won’t understand this until you have read the book but the whole friendship groups that are going on in this book I absolutely love and was laughing out loud at some of it 10 out of 10 for me
My Temptation follows Tee as she moves into her dream fixer-upper on a small street with half a dozen houses. It's a cute little community, and everything seems idyllic.
Until her neighbor turns out to be Henley James. A year ago, she went on the most PERFECT date ever with Henley James. His personality was divine, he was attentive, and she broke her rules and went home with him for the most perfect sex of her LIFE. Everything was amazing...for both of them. So why did he break their date the next day? And why did her best friend take a video of him out trolling for girls at 'the' up-and-coming nightclub?
Like every book of TL Swan's, she puts together this amazing conflict, humor, and amazing characters. Then, you see the two MCs deal with this unbearable conflict, and they begin to make headway until BOOM. A terrible and unbeatable problem appears out of nowhere. Then, this reader ends up crying like a baby (always! always I'm freakin' crying! no matter if I say...not this time, noo not this time).
Then...EUREKA! A solution is worked in a surprising way. TL is sneaky...I'm usually very good at deciphering what's going to happen next. But she gets me every time!
Then... a glorious happy ending. And more crying for this reader.
I'm really excited to see a lot of potential for future books considering what's going on in the neighborhood. It should be fun :)
Wow!
This story takes us to Kingston Lane, a cul-de-sac where everyone is good friends and meet up on a regular basis. After Juliet’s date with a dream man who told her he’d call and take her out on another date ended badly when he didn’t call, she’s over him, 3 years later she’s moving into her dream house on Kingston Lane and who happens to be her new neighbour none other than her date from 3 years ago who didn’t call.
The only way I can describe Henley is he’s a troubled soul, feels he can’t fall in love because they’ll be taken from him like his mother was, the love he showed his dad although he was stuck in the past was heartbreaking.
Juliet was not going to go away, she was trying so hard to show Henley that love can conquer all.
This book was a complete rollercoaster, would they get together or wouldn’t they, I was having my doubts sometimes whether it would actually happen, especially after Juliet sleepily told Henley she loved him, that just about tipped him over the edge.
There was some really funny parts to this book as well, the secondary characters were a hoot and let’s not forget Barry 😂 can’t wait for the next instalment which I presume will be about one of Henley’s friends either Blake or Antony next.
I was lucky to receive a copy from the author and this is my honest review.

Wow fantastic read, I was lucky to get ARC for this new series and what a fabulous one it will
be.
Juliet Drinkwater meets Henley James on a night out with her friend Chloe they go on to have a date which after misunderstanding part ways. 3 years later Juliet moves to her dream home and to Kingston Lane surprised to see her new neighbour as her best date of her life
Henley James.
What can say the neighbours are fabulous
Carol Higginbottom giving the run down of the street at the start makes you just know how this series will play out with all the super hot neighbours.
This book has it all its fun with Juliet's dog
Barry causing a few giggles and the characters around the story relevant to the other books of the series.
Highly recommend hot sizzling lead male strong lady lead and so much more to come from Kingston Lane want more already ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"Henley James is one addictive drug."
This book was everything I needed and more.
Juliet meets Henley and they hook up. It's easily the best night she's ever had. Then he is a total jerk and ghosts her. Fast forward a couple years and Juliet is moving into a new home. But, boy is she surprised to find out her new neighbor is Henley.
"I’d follow him anywhere."
“I can never get enough of you.”
This book has everything that I love about TL Swans other books. There was a couple times in the beginning where I was annoyed with Henley. But when you find out all that he's been through you start to feel for him. I even shed some tears. Once you read it you will understand why. I love all of the side characters of Kingston Lane. They all have their unique personalities and they all definitely have stories to tell. I'm excited to see who is next.
Thank you Tee for giving us this incredible story.
"If you lean into the light, love will always find you there."

I just adore Tee and how her mind works. My Temptation was something else in all the best ways. I was laughing and crying and getting all the romantic tingles, Henley and Juliet were just so good. This one starts out with a lust/love at first sight, then enemies to lovers, friends with bennies and finally friends to lovers, it was a roller coaster for sure, but I loved it.
I'm not usually one for other woman drama... But apparently when you throw in other man drama and it being a game for both characters, I don't mind so much. Henley and Juliet's antics to piss each other off were hilarious. However, our boy Hen is severely broken... His ability to love was lost a long time ago, and because of that, we get a lot of hot and cold with him as his heart and mind wrestle with how to feel about Juliet...
I'm so excited for the rest of this series and can't wait to see how these other relationships in Kingston Lane go down. I'm just unaliving for Blake and Antony's and Chloe and Rebecca's stories!
Not only do we get two fantastic characters i.e. main protagonists Juliet and Henley, we get a whole host of new and rather interesting faces to get to know and love in My Temptation, the latest release from TL Swan.
UB40 may have given us Kingston Town, but Swan has given us Kingston Lane….
When Juliet buys her dream fixer upper in the idyllic Kingston Lane she finds herself living next door to Henley James, a man whom she shared a brief yet intense night with three years previously. The tall stunning man with piercing eyes and the body of an adonis soon inserts himself into Juliet's life on a daily basis, he’s annoyingly hot, infuriatingly crazy and exactly who Juliet wants, but does he want her? his body certainly does.
What ensues is lots of hilarious banter filled, often heated and at times emotional moments as these two navigate their way towards a happily ever after… there’s doggie disasters and margaritas too, we can't forget those.
TL Swan has done it again with My Temptation. Excellent writing that draws you in and keeps you hooked. I love a grumpy possessive hero and a heroine that knows what she wants and isn't willing to settle for anything less. I love Henley and Juliet's story and can't wait to read the rest of the Kingston Lane Series.
This is a fantastic start to this new series. To me it has a Desperate Housewives vibe to it and I am totally here for it! The chemistry and the banter between Henley and Juliet is perfect. I am definitely pumped for more of this series!
I absolutely adored this book! TL Swan is one of my one-click authors and is at the top of her game. She keeps going from strength to strength, book after book. Henley and Juliet had me hooked at their first meeting and I couldn’t put the book down. The banter had me howling and the chemistry was outstanding. There were tears of sadness, happiness and moments where I wanted to hug their throats … hard! The main thing is that I could feel the love between them. The romance. The reason I love to read romance is because of books like this one. At the end I felt spent. I had been on their journey with them but most of all my heart was happy and glowing. Love is beautiful and TL Swan is a master of love. Highly recommended!
**WARNING** Do NOT start this book right before bed or else you will be up all night reading! Once you start the first page it is impossible to put it down. This is one of the best books I have read all year! If you read My Temptations you won’t be disappointed.

TL Swan does it again……
From the very first pages I was captivated by Henley and Juliet and the intensity that draws them to each other. The perfect first date, leading the reader into HEA territory until he bails on date number 2…….
Fast forward three years, Juliet’s purchased a new home and there’s an exquisitely awkward moment when meeting her new next door neighbor. In true TL Swan style you’ll be laughing at the absurd truth and honesty of the situations these characters find themselves in whilst simultaneously combusting from the intensity of their chemistry. There are some heavier moments in the story, dealing with PTSD but these are handled delicately by TLSwan. All credit to her for keeping her characters real!
This book has all the tags…….forced proximity, alphahole behavior, fake dating, gorgeously hunky men vying for Juliet's attentions and a cul de sac that is packed with seriously smoking hot neighbours. This will definitely be an amazing series and I for one, can’t wait to meet the rest of the residents if Kingston Lane!
I love this author and couldn't wait to read this book. What a way to kick off a new series.
Henley and Juliet are *chef kisses*!
This has it all....the laughs and the feels, it was quite the emotional rollercoaster. I was hooked from the start and couldn't put this book down. This might just be released but I already can't wait for the next one in the series. Yet another 5* read
My Temptation by T.L. Swan, is the first book in the Kingston Lane Series, Juliet Drinkwater finds herself at a party, which she ended up at thanks to her best friend, Chloe, who is determined to catch the attention of Doctor Blake Grayson, so Juliet follows her and although it's not normally the place where she would go, she is enjoying herself and when her gaze catch a rather attractive man she is even more excited, after a few crossed glances the man approaches her, he introduces himself as Henley James and invites her out, as he sees some hesitation in her, he gives her his card and leaves, leaving her completely intrigued, so she succumbs and ends up calling him to accept the appointment, only the person who pick the phone is his assistant, they have the date anyway and they have an incredible date where they share stories and laughs, at the end of the night and even when they decide to see each other the next night the attraction is something palpable between them and they end up spending the night together, promising to see each other later that day James leaves Juliet at her apartment, she's walking on clouds thinking she met the man of her life, only later that night the guy doesn't show up, and when her best friend calls her and tells her the guy is at a nightclub, Juliet is left disheartened. Days later, she bumps in to him by chance while she is having lunch with her brother and everything takes a turn for the worse when her brother makes James believe that they are a couple and engaged, for defending her, so James leaves annoyed without saying another word to her. After three years and after having saved a lot and thanks to an inheritance that she received from her grandmother, she buys the house that she swears is his forever home, located in Kingston Lane, of course she has to do a few jobs for it but she wants to turn this dilapidated house into her dream house, all this is going to be affected when that night she discovers that James Henley himself is one of his neighbors, and not only from the street but the neighbor from the house next door, although she swears that she will ignore him and continue with her goals as if nothing had happened. It will not be so easy when the feelings that he evokes in her have not changed. James Henley is a very handsome and successful man, he is an engineer and works non-stop, but he is also a full-fledged player and womanizer, when he finds out who his new neighbor is, he cannot believe it and although every time they see each other fight or they try to appear civil, he can't deny the attraction he still feels for her, and even though he vows to stay away, there's something that always ends up drawing him to her. But when Juliet decides to stop fighting the attraction and sets out to win him over, she realizes there's more to James than she knows. James is a man with emotional baggage who swore from a very young age not to fall in love, he has scars that do not allow him to get close to and this will sabotage any possible relationships he can form. For both of them it will be a struggle between what they want and what they deserve in their lives against the belief of what this means, James will have to do a deeper job to get rid of those fears and give himself the opportunity for a better future and see how willing he is to do it.
This book is another masterpiece by the author, who has us used to stories full of humanity, with lots of laughs, crazy moments, friendship, very human and real moments that will make you shed a few tears, all this while we fall madly in love with every character, I finish this book as always when I read one of T.L. Swan's, wanting more, if this was the beginning I know this Series will be wonderful. Highly recommended!
Another massive smash hit from T L Swan. I loved Henley and Juliet and their story was a great read. It had ups and downs and twists and turns which will keep you hooked.
The side characters were great and I can’t wait to see how their stories unfold in this series.

I enjoyed the Miles High Club series by TL Swan a lot so I was excited to dive into this new series.
I love a good enemies to lovers, next door neighbor, second chance romance, with banter. Throw in a broken man that I can root for and I’m a goner. Although I think Henley’s baggage caused him to be an ass for too long and he needs to work on his apologies.
I liked that Juliet was feisty and stubborn but wish she has held out a little longer before forgiving him. I like when the MMC works for her love and forgiveness.
This book was a roller coaster ride of emotions and the spice and chemistry were intense!
I have been patiently waiting for a new book from TL Swan and honestly the wait was totally worth it. Opening a new book from this author is honestly the best treat because you know you’re about to experience one hell of a story! This book is an awesome way to start off her new series and I was swooning over Henley the whole entire time! I loved Henley and Juliet together they have such a connection and the story is top notch! Thank you so much TL Swan for another awesome read! Can't wait for the rest of the series!
