I reviewed a digital copy of this book. It is cute and is described as being a touch-and-feel type book. That of course is hard to judge from a digital perspective. I d like the concept and would purchase a physical copy of this for a grandchild

It was very short. I would like to see one or two more, but they are adorable and my kids would have loved this book. It has the same format as other peekaboo books which is nice because kids love patterns.

Very cute interactive flap book. I love all the little critters and the contrast backgrounds.

This is a simple yet engaging book for young babies to play with, or toddlers to 'lift-the-flap' and see what is underneath! The patterns underneath the animals on each page are uncomplicated to make it so the 'main attractions' stick out! The colors aren't over the top, which is wonderful. This is perfect to grab children's attention without them being overwhelmed in any way. #PeekabooPets #NetGalley

This was so stinking adorable! I was able to look through this quickly (it’s only 7 pages!) and all of the animals were so cute. I loved the items that were underneath each animal and how it correlates to the animal that it is under. A good way for parents to stay off young with teaching kids to associate different toys with different animals.

This adorable baby book, although I read it on a Kindle, will have fabric pages for baby to feel and has little things hiding behind different household pets to introduce your baby to what their furry friend enjoys!

Adorable and fun!

ARC provided by NetGalley

Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. I was so curious about this book when I opened up its Netgalley page. How does one translate a flippable cloth book into digital arc form? I just had to know. As it turns out a combination of photos of the book and some prototype digital renders of what the pages and what is under the flip part will be. Interesting, the more you know; ya know.

Now the book itself was very cute. We all remember cloth books and how they were more for eating than reading, but I imagine as a parent or anyone who has ever seen a child around a book made of paper; the cloth is probably going to last a bit longer and tare less. The premise itself is good. You flip up the back half of the animal to find what they are hiding. It's cute. I like how the cat was hiding a mouse. The pages that were photographs of the book also looked good. I liked the look of the fabric's texture so it will probably not be that bad to have.

It is just cute for kids developing motor skills and reminded me of my long since past childhood full of books made out of cloth... I wonder if they could make an adult book out of cloth... I wonder what kind of subversion were could do with that... stick a pin in that idea.

Peekaboo Pets by Surya Sajnani - 5/5
Children's Fiction - Outdoors & Nature

Who doesn't enjoy a book they can be interactive with. Kids love to feel, pull, explore all over and a book is a great way to do this. While reading an interactive story with your children they get the chance to explore different textures while listening to a story and spending quality time with you.

Thank you NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group - Frances Lincoln Children's Books for the eARC.

The published book will be a cloth one that will offer crinkly sounds for extra fun . This sweet book is just right for little hands. Inside are a fish, cat and dog among others. All look quite cute.

Many thanks to Quarto Publishing Group for this title. All opinions are my own.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the eARC. This is an adorable sensory book for little ones. I love the moving parts of the dog's tail, the cat, and the fish's tail. The hidden items behind the animals will delight your little one! This would make a great baby shower gift!

A lift-the-flap book, Peekaboo Pets cloth pages provide a sensory experience for little hands and developing minds. With a neutral color palette, this title explores the familiar faces of domesticated animals and is the perfect addition to any children's library of aesthetically-conscientious parents.

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.

Since I am reviewing the ebook, I cannot feel the quality of the book.

Thank you to NetGalley along with the Publisher for the eARC! This is a great sensory book for young readers! I imagine they will love feeling the cloth pages, and turning the cloth flaps to see what animal is hiding. Great first pet animal book for young readers! This would be a great series- farm animals, insects, zoo animals, ocean animals etc.

These Peek A Boo books are so cute for babies! The perfect toy and book combined in one for infants. We always buy books like this, and I love all of the different ones that are available, but this one was even cuter than the jungle one in my opinion

With its lovely earth tones colors and quirky characters, this cloth picture book brings to mind the saying a picture is worth a thousand words. It is an ideal book for your kids' starter library. It was enjoyable, cute, educative, and fun.

There are really cute little books that are ideal as a first book for little ones.

The books are fabric so they are soft and gentle with lift the flap parts on each page, the colours in this one are a little dull compared to similar books and I would like to have nice, bright and attractive illustrations to encourage engagement and learning.

A couple more pages would also be nice as this one is quite limited too.

It is 4 stars from me for this one, couple of minor amendments and it could be a 5-star read.

Thank you NetGalley for this advanced copy!

Like her jungle book, Peekaboo Pets is cute and educational. This is great for babies and toddlers. I would like to see maybe some more colour on the animals, but other than that this book is a wonderful book for kids:)

These books are just precious. Soft and gentle with lift the flap pages. I'd love to see a tiny bit more colour though! And maybe just one more spread/animal (there are only 3 with each book). But I still can't help but love them. The fish was the best! 🐟
