We loved the story of Maya, Jack and David. The children all identified with one character or another and found the storyline interesting and exciting. Any book with magic in is popular in this house and this one went down very well. They will now torment me until there is more Maya Mysun.

Maya Myson & The World That Does Not Exist is an action packed fantasy adventure for tweens and middle grade students. It is the story of Maya, her twin Jack and an orphan called David. They are introduced to the world of magic, or konjurring, and the roles they must play to keep their world and the Konjur world safe from evil plots.
I can’t say that I really enjoyed this book. I felt like there was not enough information given to the reader about what was happening. New characters were continually appearing with no back story. While the story was clever and the main characters were likable, the storyline was confusing.
