Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this eARC of 'Love on Blast' by Teddy Baire.
I'll be honest and say that 'Love on Blast' by Teddy Baire just wasn't for me. I connected with the blurb but the story just was not my cup of tea. I didn't really like the characters or anything, there was just nothing for me to personally cling onto.
Thank you netgalley and publisher for providing arc of this novel.
I dnf'd this novel.
I really tried reading it but it kept letting me down and i couldn't read it anymore.
It was too fast paced and too many characters were introduced at once.
I would recommend it only to those who like fast paced and such kind of books
This book was totally okay. I did not vibe with it that much but I can see why people would like it. Would recommend.
I was first intrigued by the gorgeous cover and title, and I saw myself enjoying this book but unfortunately my reading experience could have been better. Some parts felt superficial and “cringey” but that’s just me.
Nonetheless, I would still recommend this to anyone looking for titles that aren’t much talked about!
Thank you so much Netgalley and publisher for the access to this book. I am very grateful to have experienced this read despite not meeting my expectations.
Thank you to the publisher for giving me an ARC for honest review.
I had high hopes for this book, But once i opened it i was surprised to find that the book did not live up to the expectations. This book did contain a trigger warning but i found that the first three chapters of this book made me cringe and contain little hope that it would get better. What i did read i felt was rushed and all over the place with pacing of this story. we follow Becca, Sami and Jewel as they speed date and be very boring characters. We are then introduced to Jamal, Addison and a candy business heir and then there's a shootout with a random dude. We are still only three chapter in, and I could not be soldiering on.
There is a lot of typos, and the layout makes it confusing to keep track of who's talking. I dnf it at three chapters because it was so hard to keep track of everyone and was hard to find it interesting. I would say that the main idea of the story was what drew me in. So, I feel with more edits and more of an outline of the main plot line this could be a great read. I feel like you need to cut down on the number of characters shown to us in the first couple of chapters. I wanted to know more about the job and the life of the three women first then gradually introduce us to a few more side characters as we went on.
