Whisper, Shout: Let It Out! Is a wonderful book about the power of your voice. As a mum to a little girl I want to promote her being vocal and not being afraid to speak up and this book helps to support this narrative well. The illustrations are vibrant and strong and it is easy to follow.

I read this book to my little girl in the daytime as it is a book were you can jump around, dance and shout as you read it. She really enjoyed the interaction.

This is really one of the most delightful picture books for children that I have come across long time. That too, with a really important message.

The author has found a variety of enjoyable ways for young children to make their voices heard.

For children who are shy or nervous - especially those who are raised in cultures where silence can sometimes lead to the covering up of violations against their mental health or physical integrity - giving them the confidence to speak out and express themselves is a valuable gift.

I love the sounds that have been selected and the rhyming style used here. And the colourful illustrations perfectly complement the message of the book. Highly recommended for the children in your life!

We loved this book!

The illustrations in the book are perfect for the text – it is easy to follow and my daughter enjoyed saying the words at different volumes and she really got in to the book.

I love the positive messages and themes within the book too and how this can be used to give children reassurance as they find their own voices and improve their self-esteem.

As a mum I thought that the book was great - I read the book with my daughter who started school just after her fourth birthday (she was the youngest girl in school) and she was a bit shy and it did take a while for her to find her voice but she has since properly settled and is now thriving – I do wish we had a book like this to read at that time as it’s a huge thing to go through!

I will admit we bought her a hamster to use as support and to talk too about everything that was going on and he became her best friend and that helped us but a book would have been a lot more practical!

It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended!

The perfect book for adult and child to share. Read once, you will want to read it again and again!?A voice, and its control, is important. Im glad the author and artist manage ti find their voice and are able to share a gift for others. Thank you to Macmillan Children’s books and NetGalley for the ARC.
