This book is a perfect representation of "was the book good?" and "did I love it?" having completely different answers. It reads very "simple", I'm not sure how else to say that, and I'm definitely not trying to be mean, but it was super predictable (with a plot that wasn't really meant to be) with not a ton of depth. HOWEVER it was funny and I was so excited to see how she wound up with the guy she does, despite guessing the second I met him that he was the one. If you are looking for a funny palate cleanser, I would say absolutely give this a try.

This is a quick, light-hearted read. It gives all the elements of a typical rom-com - misunderstandings in love, handsome suitors, wacky best friends - and that is what makes it enjoyable.

The ending was predictable, but it was lovely going into a book just knowing that we would get the happy ending we hoped for.

Fun!

After Peyton has way accident and loses her memory, her best friends try to help her work out which man in her life she had fallen in love with. A fun read

This was a cute low-steam romance with classic rom com vibes. I loved the characters, but the ending was pretty predictable. Overall a good book I definitely recommend

This fun and quick romcom felt just like the golden age of Romantic Comedy. Am I the only one who feels they just don't make good romcoms anymore? It's a Date (Again) while a tad predictable was still an incredibly entertaining read. I loved all the characters, and the storyline moved at a great pace. I enjoyed how Peyton worked things out on her own even when her friend was a little overbearing. I feel like if I say too much more, then I'll give too much away. If you don't mind a little predictability, I say definitely give this one a read! I enjoyed the other books I've read by Jeneva Rose, but I like this one even more! I hope she writes more in this genre moving forward!

This is a good book. The two main characters are Peyton and Robbie. They have known each other since college. They are best friends. Peyton is upset, she has told someone she doesn’t love them. She runs away, gets hit by a car and loses her memory. While at the hospital, 3 men show up. All of them has been dating Peyton. She is sure that one of them is who she was running to. Robbie is the one she finally remembers that said he loved her. She tells him she loves him.

This book gave me “Hallmark” vibes. While that might make this the perfect read for some I find that the predictability of stories like that makes me cringe. I’m sure so many people will love this book but this one is not for me. I have enjoyed this authors thrillers so I do appreciate her writing. Thats probably the lane I should stay in.

It's a Date (Again) was a fun, romantic comedy about a woman who realizes she loves someone, then gets amnesia. In the hospital, three men show up saying they are her boyfriend and try to win her love. It was very cute but also very predictable. But I liked to see how they got there. I really want there to be another book with one of the "rejects" since he seems awesome and deserves a happy ending.

This was such a cute, heartwarming story. Even though I knew how the story would end almost from the very beginning, I loved it! It made me smile and giggle and was overall such a sweet read.

Unfortunately this was really predictable and I wasn't invested enough in the characters to continue reading.

It’s a Date (Again) by Jeneva Rose

Losing your memories wouldn’t be easy ~ Waking to three attractive men claiming to be your boyfriend and not remembering any of them wouldn’t make it any easier. Throw in friends willing to help you figure out which of the three was the one you had decided you loved, dates to be gone on that might trigger or assist your memories, and wanting to get it right and you have a bit of a dilemma. One of Peyton’s friends told her to wait till she remembered but if she had…this book wouldn’t have happened so…off to the dating game Peyton went.

This was a fun, easy, sweet read that was somewhat predictable. It was a nice escape to spend time with Peyton, meet her friends, and find out how she finally decides who the man she loves truly is. You can’t always know what is inside a book by the cover and that is true of the men in Peyton’s life. I was pretty sure who she would end up with and the conclusion was satisfying as Peyton did end up with the best man for her.

The characters were well developed and easy to get to know. Mayba, Robbie, Debbie, Hank, and Anthony were supportive, kind, and honest. Nash, Tyler, and Shawn were worthy potential beaus ~ at least in the beginning and a few might be worth of stories of their own.

This was the first book I have read by this author and would like to thank her, Montlake, and Netgalley for the ARC – This is my honest review.

4.5 stars rounding up to 5 stars on Goodreads.

This was such a cute romcom, I could not devour it quick enough. It was so hard to put this book down because the writing is spectacular and I was hooked from page one. I loved every turn and loop that leads to a heartwarming ending.

I love Jeneva’s thriller but this light hearted, cute read hit me just right. Jeneva please write more romcoms!

****Many thanks to Montlake, NetGalley, and Jeneva Rose for the gifted copy in turn for an honest review.

I really love Jeneva Rose, and this was the first romance of hers I have read. I really enjoyed it! It was cute and fun to read. While extremely predictable and a bit of an "out there" premise - dating 3 men when you've just awoken from a coma - seemed quite unlikely, but it was still a fun read. I look forward to more Jeneva Rose romances!

Very cute story, easy read, very enjoyable and fun, but also not too simple, there are lots of character developments in a short time, and some parts of the story can hit quite hard. Definitely recommend!

Thank you to netgalley and the author for sending me the book in exchange for an honest review

While I wanted to enjoy reading It's a Date (Again)- Jeneva Rose's first "romcom", I found the storyline to be way too predictable. I immediately guessed who Peyton would end up with which killed the excitement and allure of the book for me. I decided to "not finish" this book at 45% due to that predictability and lackluster humor.

It's an entirely implausible situation but this is also a fun read thanks to the characters. Peyton, hit by a car and suffering from amnesia, has no idea which of the three guys who turn up at her hospital room is the one she loves. So what does she do? She, along with her pals (love her friends) work their ways through the trio to see which is the real deal. No spoilers from me. She's one lucky woman to have such good friends.
