Love, love loved this book. One of my favourite in the series. Teague and his hoard were fab but Larkin was all that and a packet of crisps! She was brilliant. It was great getting to know her as she has been so closed in the other books in the series.
Great story, dialogue, twists, turns and hilarity. A definite reread book!

Okay, so, I was on the fence about even buying the next installment in the Dark In You series, after the last few were somewhat similar in plot and characters. However, I am sooooo glad I gave this book a whirl, because Teague is hands down one of my favorite antiheroes in this universe!! He’s funny, charismatic, loyal, and about the same level of crazy as his anchor, without being identical to Khloe in his antics or behavior. Additionally, I was surprised at the level of depth the author was able to give Larkin, given she was introduced to us in previous books, and I was worried we’d see no character development in this installment outside how she related to Teague, which is tiring. But Larkin’s character felt surprisingly fresh and nuanced, with the chemistry between Teague and Larkin written in such a way that their connection was both romantic, carnal, and deep, all at once. Sincerely loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves Wright’s books or someone just getting started with her series.

Love this book. Love this whole world. As soon as I'm finished I'm always so desperate for the next one.

By far one of the best books that Suzanne has written. I honestly wasn’t expecting to laugh nearly as much as I did. I was totally expecting a bit more of a serious vibe throughout which it did but it has the perfect balance of everything it needed

As soon as Teague was introduced and we got to see how he and Larkin interacted, I knew they were going to end up together, so I’ve been really looking forward to their book! Though truly, I’m always highly anticipating Ms. Wright’s next release and I feel like I always get a little bit restless and have a harder time finding what to pick up because I just want to get back into her worlds that I love so much and it was no different with Hunted. You can believe that I started it as soon as I was able to and I had no trouble staying engaged with Larkin and Teague which has been somewhat of a struggle for me lately. Hunted was utterly fan-flipping-tastic and I loved it to pieces!

Hunted was everything I love in a Suzanne Wright book and in this particular series. I love this world and these characters so much and it was so exciting and wonderful to get to be in Larkin’s head after all this time — plus being in Teague’s head was just a hoot! It was so fun and playful, but also a little bit serious, and had awesome action and steam. I just had an absolute blast reading this book and I cannot wait for the next one to come!

Oh how far we have come. I swear to god I will mourn this series when Suzanne decides its time for it to come to an end. To think that this was never going to be a series...

GASPSSSSS of horror.

This one is actually one of my favourites of this series to date. That is saying something because there is a whole lot to choose from here.

Teague is the female version of Khloe in personality. He lives to wind people up. He takes pleasure in messing with things he shouldn't and he loves a challenge like no other. The man also lies his ass off. He's hilariously dysfunctional, wildly inappropriate and a huge tease. However Teague has one hell of a poker face and this is a man with many secrets under his playful personality. More than I expected but everything I didn't know I needed.
Did I mention he's so fuck FINEEEEEE. Man .. he has moves.

Larkin is a take no shit, easily overstimulated, can't be bothered with the drama kind of woman. She's dry and snippy and will cut you down quicker than you could run. She also doesn't take Teague shit. Oh I loved her. She's was very unexpected because you really don't get enough of her personality to know what she may be like but I was no disappointed. Also her demon is a raging PSYCO. Frankly she stole the show. I would like a book just of Larkins demon because that bitch is cray in the best most giving ways.

Oh I loved this pair. They had the best love hate chemistry with all the teasing and build up. It was delicious in all the best ways. But when you also factor in their backgrounds, the secrets and the moments they allowed a little vulnerability .. it was everything. I adored their bickering, banter and just how sneaky Larkins demon is and how clueless Teag was to the whole shindig.

As always Suznnne packs a punch and she did not disappoint with the side charcters. I loved getting to see the whole gang including little Asher and baby Anis with her killer antics. I also adored our stray hellhorse crazies and fallen angels. It is safe to say there really was never a dull moment in this book. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. I cackled like crazy, especially at Larkins demon. I adore the chemistry between the characters and easy banter they all have. The story progressed at the perfect pace keeping me on edge waiting and wondering about the big reveal whilst also enjoying the lead up. The development of their relationship was everything and perfectly suited to who they were as characters. Like I said above... this one is by far one of my favourites. I'm also hopeful at the potential for other characters that had more face time in this story because I absolutley need them!!!

*COUGH 'Viper&Ella' COUGH*

Anywho.. I'll leave this here because I know ill end up spoiling things otherwise and I've been good up till this point..

sidenote... Burn is my most read and listened to book ever. I have a feeling this will become my second. I'm running to audible as soon as it drops!.

Suzanne Wright knows how to blow the mind and this series keeps getting better and better. I’m never getting tired of this fictional world. I loved this book from beginning to end. Larkin was one amazing and strong heroine. She was my fav part about the book. I loved the Teague too. But their duo was pure fire!! Loved it

I love this writer and this series is a favourite of hers. The women are all powerful and mischievous, like a party and have a close sisterhood - what's not to like about that.
I had already pre-ordered this book before requesting and then went on to purchase on it's release date - it definitely made my keeper list rather than the read once and move on.

Yet again SuzanneWright can do no wrong by me, this is my favourite series of hers and I just adore every book, this time it’s Larkin’s turn who is determined not to settle down, well we know how that’s going to go . I love the action, the drama , tension, the fantastic characters, chemistry , romance and spice. I can’t recommend these books enough or anything Suzanne Wright writes. Perfection

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I love all of Suzanne Wright’s books and she is definitely one of my auto buy authors. I am glad I was finally able to get more information about Larkin, and Teague was intriguing from the first appearance so I have been looking forward to him as a MC. This book is their story as they engage in a “fake romance” to get Larkin’s friends to stop matchmaking. Things get complicated when Larkin’s estranged anchor makes a nuisance of himself and Teague is targeted for assassination, so he and his clan of hell horses must fight to repel vicious attacks. Through it all the two spend time together to keep up their ruse of being in a relationship and things start to get real. As always, Suzanne delivers comic moments, action packed scenes and lots of hot moments between the MCs. The only complaint I had (if I had to dig for a criticism) is that the hell horse race descriptions feel a bit repetitive and I did skim a bit in those sections. I do feel that Larkin’s demon is a bit of a departure from other entities described in the series, and the harpy almost felt like a person (did a lot of talking to Teague). It was different in a good way and highly entertaining. Overall Hunted is a great read, and if you enjoyed the other Dark in You books you’ll definitely want to read this one.

I read this book as an ARC courtesy of NetGalley. All thoughts, feelings and opinions are 1000% my own - trust me on that one.

What a fucking book. No spoilers, let’s get right down to it.

The plot - right it’s a fantasy romance I believe? Very much so focused on hell and all things evil/fantastical. There is your standard grumpy X sunshine, forced proximity, fake dating, issa dark romance with a few triggers so CHECK YA FUCKIN TRIGGERS PEOPLE. Won’t be warning you again. Bit of fated mates but not in the way you’d think. The smut was a good 3.5/5 on the spice scale - vanilla for the most part, but detailed and frequent so it earns points there! Honestly this book is hilarious and had me laughing out loud at times, it’s part of a bigger series as well but it is a HEA standalone (that’s what I read it as, anyway). I loved it. For sure the best ARC I’ve read in a while.

The MC - Who wouldn’t love Larking? She’s a badass harpy sentinel for a dark realm, who has an inner demon that made me laugh at several points. I love her, I love the ending she got, I love everything about this FMC.

The male counterpart - I won’t lie, I was sceptical about Teague in the beginning. But when I found out he’s a demon hellhorse (I think? Agh so many mythical creatures!) with a possessive streak and a naive side, I all but melted. He deserved every bit of his happy ending.

So, full disclosure here- I am a gigantic trash panda for anything Suzanne Wright. I am pretty sure that I have read every single thing this delightful woman had written, and so... yeah... my ability to be objective might be (read: definitely is) a bit skewed.

Honestly though, this might be my favorite book of the series. Now, don't get me wrong, I loved the OG couple, Knox and Harper, and I definitely was frothing at the mouth at the announcement of Chloe and Keenan’s book, but this one was such a dark horse (no pun intended), that I can't help it.

We met Larkin in the first book and her character has always been a bit of an enigma. She was there, she always supported Knox and the other sentinels but her story arc was always supplemental. Teague was largely the same, he's been around since the first few books, being Chloe's anchor and all, but we never really got a huge feel for him or his story other than he raced frequently at the Underground. And now we get all the deets... and they are just so juicy.

First off, I LOVE Larkin's demon. She is hilarious and pretty demented, which makes for some fun times with how uncomfortable she makes everyone else. Which, Teague being a bit of an off-kilter sort, makes him a perfect love interest for Larkin.

Second, we learn so much more about Teague including his little group of non-formal hell horse shifter clan. And they live in beautifully adorned gypsy caravan wagons. Gah, the heart-eyes in my face reading about Teague's wagon. Plus, you know, hell horse clan!!!!

We get an appearance of all the sentinels and their mates plus little baby Aniis and Asher and even a little snippet with Lucifer. (Dear Lord- no that's probably the wrong moniker to use, but- what the potential of future Asher and Lou get up to is going to be a constant hypervigilance on Knox and Harper's part.). Ohh and we finally get some tea on Larkin's estranged would-be anchor. It's super tasty.

Anywho, I love this. I was a huge fan of how Larkin and her demon took possessiveness and sneakiness to a level beyond. She decided what she wanted and she just went about claiming it. And although Teague is a super dominant hell shifter, he let Larkin be herself and just be supportive. (You know, this relationship mirrors Marcus and Roni's relationship from The Phoenix Pack series and that book ended up being one of my top favs as well so... draw whatever conclusion from that what you will). Oh and the branding- love, love, loved it. Again, Larkin's demon is a hoot.

I am, as always, super excited for the next book. I am super intrigued by the Black Saints and am totally here for Ella, our lovely witchy helper getting her story.

Hunted is book 9 in Dark In You Series, and one that I have been looking forward to reading. I adore Larkin and her crazy demon. They are the. Best!

"Have you ever been waterboarded? I think I would like watching you fight for breath"

Teague and his hellhorse demon are a perfect match for them.

"I want to bite you."
"Hellbeasts are venomous....I'd end up writhing in agony."
"And? The effects would be temporary."

Teague's combining their names to "LarTea" was fabulous!!

I laughed so many times while reading this book. The storyline is fun and steamy and interesting. There's danger and fighting and general mayhem at times. And the characters from the other books in the series play a big part in this book (I enjoy how Ms. Wright does this in all of her series). Secrets are revealed. Snarky comments are made. Many drinks (and a few mushrooms) are consumed. And Lou and Asher hang out briefly.

“Have you been causing mischief and mayhem?” Asher nodded. “Uh-huh.”“Good, good.” Lou cocked his head. “So, when are you and I gonna get around to ending the world?” Asher’s face scrunched up. “I wanna rule it for a bit first.”

I highly recommend this book and the whole series.

Many thanks to Little, Brown Book Group/Piatkus and NetGalley for an advance copy of this book. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias or favor or expectation.

Teague and Larkin were a match made in heaven. Loved how Larkin was able to trick Teague into things without him even realising until it was too late. This was a book i'd been waiting on for a while and i can really say it was worth the wait!!!

This book was great. I loved how you couldn't predict what Teague's past was or how it would affect his present. The fact he was similar but different to Knox was really fun. Larkin's anchor being bad was a great twist. I can't wait for the next book.

I have read every book Ms. Wright has written and not once has she disappointed. The Dark in You series is one of my favorites. We have known Larkin and Teague for several books, but in their book they were phenomenal. The world building is amazing, and it keeps getting better and better. I love the weaving of all the characters throughout the story. I love seeing their interactions and relationships with each other. That Ms. Wright can do this so effortlessly without compromising the main characters arc is perfection.

Character writing is her strength. What we knew of Teague is that he was this carefree, crazy, devil-may-care guy who is an adrenaline junkie. Larkin was a very introspective, quiet, serious enforcer. As you read their story you discover how much more they truly are. Their demons are really interesting. How she melds these two very different characters into a relationship is a great story. Of course mayhem ensues. I can not wait for the next story!

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to receive this ARC.

Larkin is tired of her friends, who are all now happily mated, constantly trying to play matchmaker. As a solution to this, she decides to "fake date" Teague, Khloe's anchor and a hellhound whose past is a mystery, and he goes along with it because he finds it not only amusing but also turns it into a wager with Larkin. Although Larkin and Teague are both attracted to each other, Teague is not the committed sort, never seeing anyone for any length of time.

Larkin and Teague were fun together, they have fun, playful banter between them that was entertaining, but they also have interesting demons that made this fun to read. There was a lot going on in this one with not only the situation between Larkin and Teague, especially as things heat up between them, but complicating things are people from both of their pasts coming up to cause trouble. I really enjoyed this book - devoured it. I also love all the new cast of characters we are introduced to as we meet Teague's clan and see more of Viper and his members. I'm looking forward to stories now featuring them!
