Thank you to NetGalley for an early E-arc
This gave perfect summer read vibes.
Cassie is visiting her Grandma in Avalon Bay to help her pack up her house, and hopes to find a summer fling.
The two had such a lovely relationship which I really enjoyed reading.
Then we have Tate, the towns resident ‘player’ who doesn’t do commitment but is actually very sweet and has his own big dreams.
This was a light hearted, easy read that also had some real depth.
The relationship between our main two was so good, they brought out the best in each other.
There was some serious family issues which created plenty of drama, and even had me emotion near the end.
I would highly recommend this book and I definitely need to go back and read the first two now!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Elle Kennedy does what she does well for the third book in this enjoyable trilogy. I really enjoyed the characters and reading about their story.

Cassie is returning to Avalon Bay after many years as her grandmother is planning to sell the hotel that’s been in their family for five decades. She’s planning to have an amazing time and hopefully find herself a summer fling. Tate is a sailing instructor and well known player, but loved by everyone. Tate and Cassie have an immediate connection their feelings only grow despite them trying to deny so.
“As Cassie and Tate walk the line between friends and lovers, they’re about to discover that their situation is the least complicated part of this equation. Because Avalon Bay is full of secrets—and their relationship might not survive when those secrets come to light.“
Elle Kennedys writing is a favourite of mine and The Summer Girl was no exception. The banter and tension in her books is unmatched. I enjoyed every part of this book from the friendships to dealing with family issues, and seeing the characters work through any issues and them growing stronger because of it. Cassie and Tate had an undeniable pull and chemistry from the very beginning and it only grew as their story went on, another incredible book from one of my favourite authors!
Thank you to @netgalley @littlebrowngroup_uk @ellekennedy33 for the opportunity to read this amazing e-arc, all opinions are honest and my own.

This is a fun banter filled cutesy summer romance book with dual POV. Absolutely works as a standalone book (I have not read the other Avalon Bay books!).
Overall I enjoyed this book and think it would make a great beach read! I think the characters did come across younger than college seniors however, and I did feel that they were a little 2D and could have done with a little more rounding out and maybe a little more strife to overcome to get me really really invested.
An enjoyable summer read!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest feedback!

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Little Brown Book Group UK for giving me access to an e-arc of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Anything by Elle Kennedy is a must read for me, and I must say she is one of the top romance authors in the genre for me.
The Summer Girl is the third book in Kennedy’s ‘Avalon Bay’ series and I have love every single book in this series. This book focuses on Tate and Cassie, where you recognise Tate from being one of the background characters in the other books in the series. The loveable player, that doesn’t want to catch feelings. And then you have Cassie, looking for a summer fling before she goes back to college.
This book is an amazing summer read! It’s a lighthearted and whimsical story, but also covers some darker themes like manipulative and narcissistic parents. It’s balanced well though, with moments of sincerity and depth, and then moments where you end up laughing out loud. I loved the slow build romance in this book, with the attraction starting right away, but with the tension building as they slowly realise their actual feelings for each other behind the fling. Also the spice in this… it may not be super present throughout it all but my god was it good.
If you’re in the mood for an easy to read summer romance then this is the book for you! I could not put it down and cannot wait for the next in this series.

And Elle Kennedy does it again. I loved this book from start to finish. Like her other books I consumed in a day something about her writing is completely addictive and I can’t stop.
I really enjoyed Cass and Tates story. The ending was amazing explosive I loved it.

I think this might be my favourite of the Avalon Bay series! I loved the characters of Cassie and Tate. They were perfect summer romance vibes with great banter and good chemistry between them.
Definitely could be also read as a stand-alone book.
It was a really enjoyable easy beach read that fans of Elle Kennedy will not be disappointed by!

Another fabulous book from Elle kennedy! I have enjoyed all of these books so much they go straight on my pre order list!!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for early access to this book!

A perfect summer read!
This is book number 3 in the series but it is definitely the best one so far.
The loveable girl next door and a golden retriever boyfriend, amazing chemistry and spice? Nothing could be better than that!
I honestly did not see the plot twists! It kept the story fresh and curious to what happens next.
Thankyou Netgalley and LBBG for the ARC

As the title suggests. This book is perfect for summer. Part of a series but you could definitely read it as a stand alone and not mess anything central to the plot. Very open door.

The new adult genre is fast becoming a favourite of mine. This was the perfect pool read that gets you a little hot under the collar sometimes so you’ll need a little dip to cool you down. The book flowed really well and the characters were fun to be around. There was a little unexpected twist towards the end that made me gasp a little! This is my first of the Avalon Bay series so I will be diving into the other two in no time.

‘Summer Girl’ is book three in Elle Kennedy’s ‘Avalon Bay’ series, and in my opinion, it’s her best one yet.
Cassie is the loveable girl next door and Tate is the perfect golden retriever with a respectable playboy past. As you’d expect with any Elle Kennedy book there is plenty of spice, lots of passion and a host of loveable (and not so loveable) side characters.
With lots of twists and turns to keep you intrigued, this book is the perfect summer read.
Thanks to NetGalley and Little Brown Book for the ARC.

Very excited for this one as I was looking for a good summer read and I really love Elle Kennedys work. I can't wait to see how this one unfolds and will be leaving my full review and thoughts soon, but I just wanted to share how happy I am to acquire this and how much I know our readers will enjoy it
