I just never got into this book. The plot was quite flat and didn’t excite me, along with characters that just felt so made up. Just the tone of the characters was almost silly (if that makes sense), they weren’t that likeable and wound me up. This book probably wasn’t for me.

I loved this book. It touches the heart. I was intrigued by how well she knew New England. I also would love to be able to heal animals. I am so delighted to be able to read this beautifully written book.
