A fun a quick beach read. An attempt at starting a new life, ups & downs, misunderstandings, and of course romance. Set in a beach town, Jenny moves with her daughter Grace into an ice cream parlor to help out her friend the owner. While trying to figure her own life, she starts having conflicting feelings about her friend's ex-boyfriend, Nick, who has his own issues to work through. An enjoyable read.
I received an ARC copy from NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.

I loved the seaside setting, it was super cozy. I also loved the characters, storyline, and the writing flowed together well. It honestly felt like sunshine.

From the moment I saw these covers advertised as upcoming on social media I wanted to read this book. I'm so glad I did as it's a sweet romance about a single mum starting again with her daughter. After months of sofa surfing Jenny and her adorable toddler daughter Grace are offered the opportunity to run a seaside ice cream parlour.

Could this be the start of a brand new chapter? One filled with love, ice cream, lifeboat saving, new friendships and maybe, just maybe the new start and the happy ever after she so badly deserves. I enjoyed reading Jenny's story and if you want a quick, short chapter books than this is for you. This is one of two books of hers to be released on the same day.

Thanks NetGalley and Boldwood for letting me have an advance copy.

I absolutely love Boldwood books and this was no exception! I flew through it in just a few days. It is such a sweet story of Jenny who takes over her friends ice cream parlour and meets the charming Nick who may just become the happiness in her life she so desperately needs. I loved the storyline characters and scenery. It was such a cute cozy novel and made me look forward to more books from this author in the future
