💛😰Very good youth novel
of adventures. !!!
Aurora Bay, 1999:
Ava Masen was still having her horrible doomsday nightmare. It looked so real...
She woke up with a start, her heart pounding. She had fallen asleep on the bus, no one had noticed.
The bus arrived at its destination. Ava looked at the landscape then thought of her future admission into a prestigious Academy...

A good dystopia/youth adventures featuring an endearing main character (Ava).
I liked the plot of the novel, filled with action, unforeseen events and danger.
I hope to read more...
I recommend for fans of the genre.
I really enjoyed the Spring of the Sentinels!
There's a lot of charm to be found in the characters, who are thrown into situations that they do not anticipate, but still make sure to cling together:
They face challenges that a person their age should not have to face, but thrive regardless. In this case, the characters did read younger than they really are, which was a bit of a turn off for me, but is likely perfect for younger readers.
Once the sequel comes out, I will most certainly be picking it up!
I'll be honest this book was probably fine but the text was on the right hand side and it made it 100% impossible to read. Truly I tried but I am too old to learn how to read a different way.
Very Sci-Fi story. Alien invasion dreams mixed with a bit of mystery. It was a decent enough read but took a bit for me to actually get into. I would recommend the book though.
An action packed earth attacked by aliens. Sci-fi adventure for middle school readers. Thank you to BuzzBook.net and NetGalley for the ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.
This book is an absolute blast! The author effortlessly combines elements of mystery, fantasy, and romance to create a story that will keep you up all night turning pages. The writing style is engaging and accessible, making it a perfect choice for readers of all ages. Ava and her friends are characters you'll root for, and their journey of self-discovery and bravery will tug at your heartstrings.
I have to say, I didn't care for this one.. The very first page was a struggle for me. I like descriptions to fall into the story, but for me it was way to much. The main character, Ava, was hard for me to relate to. I didn't really understand the plot. I didn't care for any of the characters, except maybe Lily. This is NOT the book for me, but I would recommend that you read it and reach your own opinion.
A thrilling and captivating YA sci-fi novel that will keep readers glued to its pages. Set in the small town of Aurora Bay, the story revolves around Ava Mason, a 16-year-old girl with haunting apocalyptic dreams and a connection to the enigmatic Sentinels. The book expertly weaves together elements of mystery, suspense, and a touch of romance as Ava delves deeper into the secrets of her past and the impending alien invasion.
