I enjoyed the book. Didn't do well with the grandchildren. They did like the coloring.
However as an adult I understood what the message was. A good read. Give it a try.

Felix: The Clever Fox
Cute story!
And beautifully illustrated. I love the message of this story.I received a free copy via Net Gallery and am leaving an honest review.
I wanted to like this book. The cover looked adorable, but it just didn't work out. One it is the story of a fox, but it has a very weird anti-hunting message. I am not a hunter for moral reasons, but this book is designed for kids and it would be upsetting if they understood, I just don' think kids are going to get this. The story is too simple for older children and too confusing for younger ones that just want something fun or silly. My biggest problem with the book is that the art is drastically different from page to page. It is almost like the book had a different artist for every page and that would be confusing to young children. It isn't offensive, just seems undone.

I was unable to download book in a readable format and so I cannot give an opinion at this time. If I can locate a copy I will amend my review.
Welcome to Felix's world and friends in the forest. He has a lot of friends but they are afraid of the hunter, so they begin to have a plan. Great read with a simple lesson.
The illustrations by the author are delightful, fun, imaginative, and colorful.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to a school or teacher or your public library!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from the author as independently published via NetGalley. Thank you!
A wonderful cute story that my grandchildren will love. I highly recommend anyone with children or grandchildren or just a child a heart to read. Loved reading...
This a nice story with fun character names and really cute illustrations. It's a little confusing having jungle animals mixed in with forest animals but it doesn't take away from the story of taking time to listen to other's stories. Thanks #NetGalley
Unfortunately I am unable to fairly review this book. I downloaded it to my Kindle which is not a readable format.
Join Felix, the clever fox, on an incredible adventure that will leave you amazed and inspired! In this captivating children's book, Felix's passion for protecting his friends leads him on a thrilling journey filled with surprises and hidden secrets. With its exciting plot and lovable characters, this book is a must-read for children who crave adventure and want to learn important lessons about courage and determination.
A heartwarming and captivating children's book that takes readers on an unforgettable adventure. The story revolves around Felix, a clever fox who sets out to save his friends from danger. As he embarks on this thrilling journey, Felix encounters new friends, faces challenges, and learns valuable lessons about courage and determination.
Once there was a clever fox named Felix. One day Felix came upon a hunter that was setting traps for animals. Felix wanted to help out his woodland friends. So they made a fake bunny and had the hunter follow the bunny. When he followed it he became entrapped in a net. The hunter cried because he did not realize how much he was hurting the woodland animals. He agreed to not hunt any more and they all became friends.
This was basically an anti-hunting/vegetarian?? book for kids. But that wasn't even the biggest issue for me. My problem was that the fox looked different on every single page, I just didn't understand the point of that in a creative sense. My kid was also uninterested in the story
The illustrations are bright and vibrant, but the font style is blocky and has a lot of things cluttering up the pages. Additionally, the animals have strangely inconsistent styles and look.
The storyline is okay, but the life lesson is lacking and condescending to hunters with the conclusion that everything can get along, be friends. This is not reality.
I thought this book wasn’t very entertaining for children. Most small children don’t understand hunting animals or that animals can also be food. I don’t think this is a fun story for a child to read.
Felix the clever fox is a delightful story about smart little fox who lives with his other animal friends in the forest.
When he discovers that a hunter is setting traps all over the place, Felix is worried about the fate of his friends and family. So he decides to take action.
This is a story about friendship, teamwork and kindness. It will be very enjoyable for young children to read, and will also teach them important life lessons.
For me, one of the best things about this book were the illustrations. The drawings of the animals were very cute indeed, and the pictures of the forest were quite atmospheric. A great book for kids.
