Good book! New friends pregnant together. But then Rebecca disappears and acts like she has never met Ali. What is going on? Twists I didn’t see coming for sure. I’m glad this was a shorter book though because I fear I would have lost interest if much longer.
Fantastic book!
I really enjoyed this book and didn’t want to put my kindle down! Great story with fantastic twists.
Highly recommend to any psychological thriller lovers!
Oh my god! This book is outstanding! Everytime I thought I had worked out what was going on something happened that I did not see coming. I honestly was on the edge of my seat! It is extremely gripping! The ending really shocks you, I can’t believe it!
This book was my first by this author and won’t be my last it had me hooked in from the first page and i couldn’t put it down. If you love a psychological thriller with plenty of suspense and lies and twists and turns then this is definitely a must read.
This book definitely keeps the reader on their toes trying to work out which are the lies and what is the truth.
This would make a good tv dramatisation.
well this book had me hooked for page one, so many twists and turns and it kept me guessing right until the end!
so much deceit and lies and which one of the main characters is actually the crazy one…
a real page turner

Ali has moved to a new area with her husband and is heavily pregnant. When she meets Rebecca, she feels an instant connection. They become firm friends meeting up going for walks making plans for when the babies are born. Then their due date comes and goes, and Ali hears nothing for weeks. Worried about her friend, Ali tracks her down and is relieved to find Rebecca safe and well. But then Rebecca denies ever meeting her what is going on and the more Ali begins to dig the more someone wants her to stop and they will do anything to keep their secret hidden.
This was a gripping story which I highly recommend. With a breathtaking twist which I did not see coming excellent.
You'd do anything to protect your baby
But how far would you go for a friend?
This was such an addictive read, I did struggle to get my head round it but it was really good.
This is a story that has plenty of tension and twists.
An unusual story line focusing on relationships and how far people will go for friends and family.
Had me puzzled for a while but in a good way.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.

Best suspense.
When Ali meets Rebecca, she feels an instant connection. Both pregnant, with babies due the same day, Ali can't wait to share the highs and lows of motherhood with her new friend. Rebecca is everything Ali wishes she could be - beautiful, confident, wealthy. But Ali senses in her the same loneliness she's been feeling since moving to the suburbs. Maybe they can help each other, and Ali won't feel so alone anymore. Then their due date comes and goes, and Ali hears nothing for weeks. Worried about her friend, Ali tracks her down and is relieved to find Rebecca safe and well. But relief turns to shock when Rebecca denies ever meeting her... or ever having been pregnant at all.
Thanks to NetGalley and Headline for giving me an advance copy.
