A solid YA sci-fi tale. The plot moves along at a good pace, and I stayed mostly engaged. A fun story.

This book was a lot of fun. It was nice seeing a YA book be more descriptive when it came to deaths of characters. Usually YA books tend to limit the descriptions of that stuff. At 35, I am older then the main age for this book but still enjoyed reading it. The author is great at creating characters that feel like real kids and teens. Their actions and dialogues felt like how real children would react in that type of situation.
