The Queen of The Dawn by S.M Gaither - 4/5 ⭐

The 5th and finale book of the series Shadows & Crowns. Gaither honestly couldn't of summed it up better than this. It ended perfectly with all questions answered and all theories laid out and explained. An exquisite fantasy series and one that needs to be on your TBR.

The satisfaction and comfort from this series has been unexplainable. I actually jumped for joy when I was given the chance to read the ARC after having read the first 4 and waiting for the 5th! The characters are phenomenal - from good and bad! They're all so perfectly written and portrayed with literary genius. The romantic story between Casia and Elander was beautiful. So heartwarming and perfect in every way. There's also some scenes that will take your breath away 🥵

I am absolutely destroyed to think that it's over, it's been such a rollercoaster of emotions whilst reading this series. But, like every book I love, I will be returning to reread in the future. I can't wait to see what Gaither comes up with next.

An epic conclusion to S. M. Gaither's Shadows & Crowns series. This is a fantastic series and I would definitely recommend it. I will really miss Cas and Elander but it is a lovely conclusion to the series.

This was such a fantastically wrote story that kept me gripped throughout. To a point where when I was finished I thought ok I need to reread this series again and annotate it. I like to do this after reading a series to gather my feelings and thoughts.

There are so many twists and turns that had me super shocked. Very likeable characters and stunning writing that I think is gonna stay with me!

The ending was predictable but I still thought it was fantastic, I'm sad the series is over but I'm hoping to read more of their work in the future. I loved the characters development and how they progressed and grew. THE SPICY SCENES WOW they fit well with the plot and didn't feel like they were just thrown there.

The Queen of the Dawn is the final book in what has become my all time favourite fantasy series. I absolutely loved the magic system, the fantastic characters and the beautiful romance. This series truly feels like a warm hug and I have found so much comfort in these books. The found family trope is absolute perfection and I loved each and every one of the main characters, including the incredible Silverfoot.

Casia and Elander have quite possibly the healthiest relationship I've ever read and their story is so beautifully told. Their love for each other radiates off the page and fills my heart with so much joy. I could read another 600+ paged book just about them living their lives after the events of this book.

I'm so sad that it's over but I'm very excited to explore S.M. Gaither's other books!
