This was a really wonderful paranormal romance!

This is a good story that had some long scenes and story plots at just the right length but, other flew past. I wish the scene, especially the one with Dom’s brother had been a little bit longer with more explanation.
Overall this was still a very good story and is most definitely worth reading.

If you’re a sucker (sorry) for a decent vampire story, then <i>Resisiting My Vampire Mate</i> will be a solid choice one for you. It’s a quick read, clocking in at just over 200 pages. Some hot vampire-on-human spicy scenes!
No it’s not the most perfectly written book of all time, it is full of tropes as to be expected, but the fast-pace keeps it highly engaging. It does feel like some of the main events of the book are glazed over and happen very quickly. This perhaps lessens their impact sometimes.

Farrah was supposed to be getting married, but at the last second she bolts it away from the isle, from her husband, and winds up drowning away her sorrows at a local club. She found out that her fiancè Jared was cheating on her with best friend Jen!
What she doesn’t know is this club is filled with supernatural being, the owner is a 400+ year old vampire named Dom. He is an enigma, from a prestigious family and is trying to escape his brother’s shadow.
As soon as Dom smells Farrah’s scent, he knows he has found the ‘one’, all vampires have a mate. He also figures out something that she doesn’t know about herself, she is a fount! This means she can sense if there are vampires and werewolves around her, and she is instantly drawn to Dom too.
As the two of them grow closer, does this mean danger is right around the corner as Farrah grows addicted to her vampire lover?

<b>3 Stars</b> 🧛🏻‍♂️

I for sure love the cover of this book. It’s probably one of the simplest but hottest covers I’ve seen in a min. Who doesn’t love a classic sexy vampire that you want to be a willing victim of?
I couldn’t imagine finding out that my fiancé was sleeping with my best friend literally right before the wedding. The spiciness that follows is a little predictable but I don’t really read into it too much.
So, this book reads like twilight but with more spice. I can’t keep myself from imagining a hotter Edward and a more emotional Bella. Their Romance in this book makes no sense, like seriously.I’m rolling my eyes a lot and skipping though the naughty bits CuaSe there was really no build up. I was literally in a rush to finish this book because I just wanted it to be over with. A lot of things happened that could’ve been spaced out throughout a couple more books. Completely unsatisfied, and just left shaking my head.
For sure really want to like this book, but it was definitely a one star read for me. Would not recommend.

Resisting My Vampire Mate by Lexie K. stone is a happily ever after. I really enjoy reading paranormal romances and this was an easy read. However, it's not all fun and rainbows. There is cheating, attempted Kidnapping and murder for some trigger warnings. This story does have romance at its core as I mentioned its HEA. I think romantics will enjoy reading this book.

Thank you Netgalley, the publisher and the author for an ecopy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

please note that the trigger warnings and topes/themes may contain spoilers
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: yes
spice: a few open-door spicy scenes
TWs: cheating, attempted kidnapping, death, murder
standalone: yes
final thoughts: this was a fun read, but I found myself not feeling a connection to any of the characters unfortunately. I left with more questions than answers, but it was a quick and cute paranormal romance. I felt a bit lost on figuring out whose perspective we were reading from and where in the story we were every time the chapter changed, but the writing was easy enough to follow that I didn’t hate it. Overall, had the author delved deeper into the FMC I think it would’ve made for a better story.

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for granting me a copy of this book in return for my honest opinions.

The story line in the book is great. Woman ditches wedding, neets vampire, discivers she is vampire and he is her mate, but it is so very hard to follow

Past tense, present tense just needs so much more editing to made it good. Could really be great but was giving me a headache trying to follow plus a lot of grammatical and spelling errors.

Like the story and characters. Has promise for a really good book

DNF @14%

I don't normally rate books I've barely read, but this book is not good.

This is from a GR review of this book: "A heart-pounding paranormal romance that will kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish."

It will kept me wondering if the author was high when they wrote it.

Aside from maybe spell check, this shit has not been edited. The punctuation doesn't really have a lot of rhyme or reason. The tense changes constantly, like in the same sentence. Like, this turd should have been polished before it was set upon the world, but it is MATTE, as a matte turd of fact... BA DUM TISS.

I can't look past this. It's insulting to me as a reader. I'm not going to give your story a chance if your writing literally makes me frown as I'm attempting to read it. It's so bad that I'm not even skimming ahead to see if there are any sexy bits.

This book wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing. I read the whole book and found it started off strong but kind of levelled off and fell flat
This was a nice paranormal romance featuring mainly Vampires but had werewolves too. This was a Vampire Fated mates which I did enjoy but found that it lacked some depth with building the romance. It just needed more depth and cute moments between the main characters.
This was a quick and fun read but I feel it could maybe do with a little more between the characters and more action in the plot.

I hate to give one star reviews, but this was unreadable for me. The first chapter looks like an editor corrected issues, but the rest clearly hasn't been edited.

This is a fun read easy, light read. I would have liked a bit more backstory , but it didn’t affect my read. This is the perfect read for a book slump or coming down after heavy, long novels. This is full of vampires and drama, it’s a piece of pure escapism when you need it most

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for this arc. This story started off pretty good but then it took a nose dive for me. I didn't really care much for the main characters and I found them annoying.

Special thanks to NetGalley, authors, and the publisher for sharing this amazing digital reviewer copy with me in exchange my honest thoughts Listen is this the best book ever? no. But did it give exactly as I had hoped it would... Yes, yes it did. It was quirky, fun and sooooooo romantic.. I would read again and I am happy to have encountered this book, by chance! 4 of out 5 stars.

I would definitely describe this as entertaining. Personally
the story lacked depth and character development. Every
part of the story happened so quickly. But none the less a
very entertaining vampire romance! 2.75
Thanks to NetGalley for the arc!

This book was a great break from the heavy and long book series I have been reading. I loved the characters and the world of vampires and werewolves and humans with abilities. I do wish the book was longer to have more world set up and it not feel as rushed. At times I feel we were rushed through some parts but I loved how it ended for Dom and Farrah. I will be reading other books by Lexie K. Stone. The spice was top tier in my opinion.

A heart-pounding paranormal romance that will kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. From the very first page, I was captivated by her extraordinary ability to see into the past and future through her dreams.

But it's not all rainbows and unicorns for her. On her wedding day, she discovers her fiancé's infidelity, and her world crumbles around her. Enter Dom, the enigmatic vampire who becomes her unexpected savior. The chemistry between them is off the charts, and the author expertly navigates the tension and desire that crackles between them.

The book was given me to as an ARC from Netgalley after I requested it due to the synopsis. Below is my honest opinion and contains mild spoilers.

Whilst I think the story line is interesting, I didn't really connect with the main characters and felt like there could have been more back story to the characters to help build the relationship between the reader. Example, Farrah- she seemed to happy to leave the human world behind her. She literally left her family before her wedding, would they not be looking for her? Also, she found out supernatural is real and she is one of them. This would have been great to explore. With the book being a dual POV, we could have maybe looked into Dom and his brother/war against council to gain a perspective.
Whilst I like a spicy scene, I like a bit of a build up so I feel connected and rooting for them to get it on. It occurred too early on in the book in my opinion.
Overall, a promising start and I will personally like to see what happens next.

I was excited for a fated mate- vampire/human pairing and this book had a lot of potential! This was a quick read but it could have been improved with a little more "fluff"- more details, more emotions, more complexity, etc. The storyline had potential- vampires, werewolves, and secret powers but I felt like those details needed to be fully fleshed out more to give the story more depth and have the reader fully invested. I personally felt like I couldn't connect to the characters. This was a fun quick read with spice, I just wanted a little bit more!
