The book was easy to breeze through, making it a good option for readers seeking a fast-paced story.
The storyline had the potential to be captivating and compelling, but unfortunately, it fell short of delivering on its promises
The characters in the book lacked depth and complexity, making it harder for readers to become emotionally invested in their journey.
I would like to express my appreciation for the opportunity to review this book.
I imagine this is a start of a series and it is just finding its feet and will improve on writing and characterisations in the coming books.
I liked the storyline and I liked the characters there just just needed a bit more I’m not sure what but it was missing something.
However if there is more to come then i will read another.
Thank you Netgalley for a copy for an honest review
The bare bones of the plot/storyline are there but I don’t think the execution overall worked for me.
It had so much potential but ultimately I feel like it fell short with the FMC and the MMCs relationship timeline, and the lack of “fleshing out” of plot over the development of the FMCs powers.
I don’t think I’ll be continuing the series at this point.
This is a fun, quick read full of vampires, werewolves, evil councils and lots of drama. I read this in one sitting and I think it will be great for anyone in a reading slump or wanting an easy, light read. I only wish there was a bit more backstory to the characters and powers as I did feel a bit lost at the beginning as everything moves very fast but overall this is a fun book.
The book was good but I was confused for 95% percent of it and still don't know what occurred. I liked the writing though.
A quick read with plenty of vampires, werewolves and lots of finding out secret powers.
Unfortunately it was lacking in depth and needed more description and explanation of how and why situations arose. There is a good basic story, plenty of heat, we just need more.
If you want a quick and easy read I would definitely recommend. I got this as an arc read from netgalley and promised I would give an honest review. I did enjoy the book. However, there are parts that fell short of what was expected. I got a mix of True Blood and Twilight while reading this. Which I do LOVE both of them. I feel like it could have been longer and maybe drawn out into a series. Everything seemed to happen all to fast and was taken by the characters like it was natural. I honestly don't have anything horrible to say about this book. I would recommend it to people that are interested in vampires and werewolves that like a little spice in their books.
Vampires, werewolves, cheating fiances and supposed best friends - and the evil vampire council, with pending territory war. Lots going on in the neighborhood you thought you knew. A light and fast read, great for a weekend or vacation.
So it had some potential like there was some pretty good parts but I would've loved to have more introduction wise to learn about the characters. The randomness of the beginning kind of threw me off and left me confused until I kind of inferred what was going down. I enjoyed the plot overall and learning about dom was interesting!
thank you for letting me read it early!
Resisting My Vampire Mate was a super quick easy read that I finished in one day. This book is about Farrah who is getting ready for her wedding but suddenly finds out her fiancé is cheating. She then runs away and find herself at a club owned by the mysterious Dom. I enjoyed this book and thought that it was a 4/5 star read. This book is released July 12, 2023. Thank you Lexie K. Stone and Netgalley for an opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book.
