The little mermaid trope can be done well and there were no complaints from me with this novel. The little mermaid meets rock star was a new twist for me but I still enjoyed it. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

I thoroughly enjoyed this read for Book Club Kit: Kiss the Girl by Zoraida Cordova. I manage my own book club in the Miami, South Florida area and just started a second Chapter 30 minutes north. It brought insight to a lot I am already doing and ideas on things to do to improve. I enjoyed the quiz and drink ideas. It's a very inclusive kit! I think I will incorporate the "What to read next" into my monthly book club discussions.
