.A good basic book of all the background to investing and how the stock market works. I did find things still very technical and the writing was a bit dry - I've not used any of this book's advice as even after reading it investing still seems a wild wild west to me. More useful to someone with a bit more knowledge than novice level interest than someone looking to explore investing for the first time.
