Interesting read, grabbed my attention from the start as you knew something had happened to 3 people but you didn't know who or what. Felt it got a little far fetched towards the end.
A great thriller, full of tension and twists and turns. It takes hardly any time at all to get into it and it kept me hooked all the way through.
This was a great novel, twisty and tense from the very. Beginning. I got into it very quickly and really enjoyed it!

This is a quick and easy novel with really got plot. I especially liked the details that helped build Amy's obsessive charater. Definitely one to watch.

This was a very easy book to get in to. Gripping from the start with so many twists. I knew there would have to be a mega twist at the end to tie up all the loose ends but never expected it when it came. Wow!
A great book and a pleasure to read.

I was hooked straight away by this book. It’s a really good psychological thriller with plenty of twists throughout. It’s well written, fast paced and easy to get enthralled in.
This book was such a tense read! It hooked me as soon as I started and I didn't want to put it down.
Amy is a florist who owns a shop in London. This is how she meets the Elliott family; a wealthy local family. Soon an obsession grows and after a tragic event Amy finds herself at the centre of a murder investigation.
I haven’t read anything by this author before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. As it turns out this book exceeded my expectations. I was gripped almost straight away and really enjoyed the florist theme. I came away learning a few things about floristry! I found the characters were well written and I loved the theme of obsession. The plot was fairly straight forward and this worked well, with the small details adding intrigue and making you want to carry on turning the pages. I found that I preferred the first half of the story and I did manage to get some of the twists (quite late on though). Saying this, I would definitely recommend this thriller as it was great read with some original elements. This author’s other books are now on my list to read. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this copy in return for an honest review.
An interesting and curious psychological thriller.
Amy Mackenzie is a florist, eager to ingratiate herself with new clients the Elliot family, who all ooze money and sophistication. When the book begins, it's clear she's also got herself into a bit of a dark situation, as someone has been hurt or killed along the way. Two timelines twine around each other, as we get glimpses of Amy's path to this point, and then more time spent in the aftermath of whatever has happened.
Amy quickly gets obsessed with her clients and there are signs here and there that perhaps the rest of her life isn't as happy and complete as it could be. Is she just a loner, or is something more going on? Who is really in danger here?
There are lots of twists and turns in this tale, but I personally found it a little slow to get to the meat of the story. Also, I didn't hugely warm to Amy or the rest of the cast. She didn't seem super rounded to me (albeit for good story reasons), and perhaps I wasn't as invested in her fate as I could've been.
Fans of the twisty and turny should enjoy this - I think I was looking for a little bit deeper.
I enjoyed The Florist as an easy holiday/rainy day read. I also enjoyed reading about Amy’s strange and obsessive mannerisms - the author cleverly depicted her as a troubled character.
I didn’t guess the culprit, but I did find this element of the storyline to be a bit lacking.
All in all, I enjoyed the story.
She knows your secrets, but do you know hers?
Successful florist Amy lands a lucrative job supplying flowers for Izzy’s surprise birthday party. Desperate to make a good impression Amy stops at nothing and becomes slightly obsessed with her clients. When Izzy’s body is found Amy is accused, has her obsession turned dangerous and will her past come back to haunt her?
What a great book, hooked from the start and raced through it. I really enjoyed the character interactions and lots of twists and suspense makes this a brilliant thriller. Thanks to @netgalley for the opportunity to read and review.

10 things liked about this book
1. It was different for me to read a book where the main character was a Florist!
2. I have literally no idea on Floristy aside from what is obviously a rose and what is an orchid and tbh it was nothing I had interest in
3. But I did ( find I had interest in ) and amazingly really really enjoyed reading about the flowers, smelling the scents and visually seeing the amazing displays ( thanks to the carefully inclusive writing that was for everyone, flower expert or not )
4.Flowers aside this was an entertainingly dark read
5. The main character was flawed and showed that everyone has a ‘weird side’ ( will make sense when read )
6. The occasional offbeat humour was welcome
7. The story although told at different times was easy to keep up with
8.Although I would say a crime book there was also massive psychological thriller involvement
9. Even ‘extra’ characters like Janet upstairs were portrayed wonderfully and
10. The author described things that can be written boringly unboringly ie someones outfit was described as a mix of summer fruits ie raspberry red etc instead of just red,it sounded delicious
Yep was a great read
Good book, well worth a read, if you are a fan of thrillers you should enjoy this book. I don't want to give the game away, so no spoilers from me, but just grab a copy of this book, and enjoy !
So, I really enjoyed the build up and the tension of this book. It had a good plot, some red herrings and I was surprised by the ending. However, I thought the last few chapters were rushed, slightly unbelievable and left me a bit disappointed.
With thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
