Innocent’s Wedding Day with the Italian is written by Michelle Smart and a Mills & Boon Modern romance. Set over 24 hours Rebecca runs from the Altar when Enzo who is her fiancé mother tells her that due to her clause in her father’s will if she married him her inheritance will go to him rather than her. She runs from the Altar as she doesn’t know if Enzo is marrying her for love or money.
The runaway bride was planning to return immediately to the UK. Enzo persuaded her to stay for 24 hours to see if by going over the past they can still (re)build a future together.

Unusually for M&B in this storyline Rebecca is firmly in control of their future. She can walk (or run) at anytime. It is Enzo, the billionaire, who is begging her to understand why he did it.

An interesting read. The plot line is well written and well paced over 24 hours and the characters are both believable and relatable.

Rebecca and Enzo are getting married but when Rebecca finds out that Enzo will now receive her inheritence she runs, not sure if they are getting married because Enzo loves her or just the money.

I really liked the idea and execution of this story, it gives the reader romance, fun, emotion and adventure all wrapped up in one book. A great read

The last quarter of the book was excellent, it made me cry, smile and really dragged me into the romance and explanation. To get to this dénouement took a long time. The book covers not even 24 hours with the past told as it is needed to keep the tale going. The premise is excellent, there wasn’t enough excitement or movement for me in the first half though to make up for a strong ending.

A lovely story with a romantic courtship and a fairytale wedding, quickly followed by a runaway bride and a groom with much explaining to do. Glamour and wealth are poor substitutes for honesty and truth, and Rebecca is determined to make billionaire Enzo answer for his deceit. It is an emotional romance as the couple retrace their past to see if they have a future together. Rebecca is determined to find out why. Enzo is desperate to make her understand his reasons. Passionate and poignant, this romance keeps you engaged, hoping for a happy conclusion, which after much angst, is achieved. I like the emotion, the conflicts and the passion of this romance.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

Innocent 's Wedding Day With The Italian will churn your emotions like your on a rollercoaster.

Romantic, seductively, sensual and erotic in its intamacy, then gut churningly sad, disparingly desperate.

To understand not only their behaviour, reactions and emotions but also historic family relationships, their life changing decisions and their consequences on the ones they loved.

With a happy ever after ending of emotional love.

Phew.
