I'm a huge fan of Chet and Bernie and my expectations were high as I know that Mr Quinn can write exciting and very funny thrillers that I always love.
This was a very entertaining story featuring a kick ass senior lady and her fight to get back her savings and not being beaten by a scammer.
A well plotted and humorous story that kept me reading and I enjoyed.
Recommended.

Mrs Plansky, a seventy something widow lives in Florida and dealing with her 98 year old father. Mrs P receives a phone call, claiming to be her grandson Will who is in dire need of $10,000 to get him out of a pickle. And so her bank account is drained. The police tell her she has no chance of getting her money back. So Mrs P takes matters into her own hands. Improbable story line but an enjoyable read nonetheless.

Sorry but a "whirlwind adventure" that left me a little bored
Not quite my thing sadly and i found myself skimming here and there.

I'm sure this will appeal to many, just not for me.

There isn’t much mystery since the readers are made aware of the identity of the culprits quite early on and Mrs. Plansky’s investigation finds fruition as a result of a tad too many convenient coincidences.
