Whew, this book was super helpful. I have a 5-year-old who has some behavioral outbursts. We tried therapy and learned some really good tips to help her. This book just added to that. Some of this book was obvious, but it's nice to have it all in one spot.

I had a few aha moments while reading this book. Life with a five-year-old is a challenge, but now I have a clearer idea what to do when I feel absolutely lost and helpless. This is a short and accessible guide that is worth reading even when your children are adults. It's never too late to create a positive home environment.
Thank you to NetGalley and Alice Brock for an Advance Review Copy.
This book was a very simple read. But I have to admit. I couldn't really get into it. It seemed a little too simple and a lot of the information was things I already knew.
The illustrations seemed a little fake and not authentic.
However, if you are new to this type of parentine, send, it can really be a good start.
Im sure it has many helpful hints, but i just could not read it. There was a lot of information chucked at you with no real break. It just gave me a bit of a headache.

I found How to Make your Kids Mind with Positive Discipline very useful and it definitely isn't aimed at toddlers. It can help with any age, it gives lots of help and advice on how to help nurture a more kinder parent/child relationship. Being able to understand issues from their point-of-view really helps you understand why they behave the way they do and what you as a parent can do to help them behave more appropriately.
The book is easy to read, and the advice is simple to put into practice leading to a happier family life
A very informative book if you need pointers on how to "handle" or "cope with" your strong willed child. Yes there is some obvious info in the book but there is also a lot of info that I haven't read or heard anywhere else before! Still trying to put some of it into action so here's to hoping!
This book was interesting. I have struggled in the past with different parenting books but this one made it a little easier to follow. I don't know if some of the pictures were needed, but it did add to the appeal of the book. If you are someone like myself that has kids in multiple age groups and not just in the toddler season of life, it is a different read. At the end of the day like most books I took the nuggets that I could use for my own children and tucked them away. The book is well written and gets to the root of many issues. I would recommend to friends.
