This book genuinely surprised me, I never knew where the story was going. I kept thinking it was going one way but I got to the end and what a twist! I really like the way this book was written, very descriptive. I felt like I was there with how everything was described. The characters were great, I love a little revenge.. I highly recommend this book and thank you for allowing me to read it early!

Thank you for the ARC !
This book kept me guessing the entire time, I had no idea who to believe ! I was definitely surprised by the ending. Definitely recommend this book!

All I have to say is wow….. I was hooked from the first page! I can’t wait to read more from this author. So much suspense and twists and turns.

The Nurse had me from the very first page but felt very slow, that was until about the 50% mark. It was a fantastic read. I was actually gobsmacked by the last page! Oh so masterful!
Our protagonist Emily is fresh out of nursing school when she lands a job working for a rich psychologist and his mentally unstable wife. Once she starts, Emily wonders if she's not just dealing with her wife's mental illness, but something much more sinister.
This author does an incredible job of making you feel like you're right next to Emily trying to figure out the mystery. It was exciting and had me guessing the entire time. (I really thought I had it all figured out.) And then... it shifts.
I was originally going to give it 4 stars, just because of Emily's decision making, and its slow paste, but the overall experience and ending made up for it.
I was given an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review! Easy 5 stars!

A captivating domestic thriller full of lies, deceit, and secrets. I was kept guessing to the very end. Suspenseful with finance characters you're not sure you can trust.

What an incredibly addicting psychological thriller! This book will have your head spinning. You’ll be questioning the characters and trying to figure out what the truth is. What is real? What is imagined? Who can be trusted?
The more you read, the darker and more disturbing it gets! The twists just keep coming. When you finally get to read from Sabrina’s point of view so much clicks into place! This book had me gasping several times and there’s twist after twist! Such an engaging story that blew my mind again and again!
Thank you so much Bookouture and NetGalley for the early gifted copy!

A fast paced well written thriller with good twists and interesting characters which kept me involved in the storyline.
Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for this ARC which I have no hesitation in recommending.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the e-arc in exchange for review. The Nurse was a quick-paced thriller. There were, of course, twists that I didn’t see coming in the end, and others that I felt would happen. As a registered nurse, I did find some of the medical-related content to be a bit off-the-mark, but overall this was a fast and enjoyable read.

Really did not see that ending coming, characters that make you invested in there story can’t wait to own a physical
Copy

This is my first book to read by the author and wow, what a good book! It takes place in Florida where I live so that was a plus as I was familiar with the area!
This was a physiological thriller that slowly comes together but the ending I never saw coming!
Great book and I look forward to reading more from her!
Thank Net Galley for allowing me to read and review book!

This book is well written and the character development is good but way too many details for my taste.
Very slow read…not a fast paced thriller. It took too long to get to the “good stuff”.

Seductive and twisted. Highly recommended! Readers, find some quiet alone time to settle in with this one because you won't stop reading until you've turned the final page. Highly recommended the nurse to fans of mysteries, suspense and thrillers.

I really enjoyed this book! The characters were well developed and the story was engaging. I recommend that others try this book as well. Well done!

The Nurse by Jenna Kerman was a fast paced thriller that had me from the beginning. At first I thought it was going to be your typical rich family hires poor nurse, blah blah blah. Oh noo. The author takes a completely different route that is unique and fresh.
Emily has just graduated as an LPN from nursing school and accepts a job caring for the wife of a psychiatrist. He explains how his wife has mania, poor impulse control, doesn't understand fiction from reality, and so on. He is her sole physician and the wife takes a massive amount of medication daily to sedate her.
There is a lot of detail in this book. However, it's all there for a reason. Emily is trying to decide if the wife is really ill or if the husband is keeping her a prisoner. As Emily researches and looks for clues to solve this mystery, the story gets more thrilling.
The ending absolutely blew me away. Not even the ending. The last half of the book. I was very much a fan of Emily and her past troubles. The author wrote so well, I felt like I was right there with Emily. I have never read anything by her, but definitely will. This book was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC. I greatly appreciate it.

WOW just wow! I finsihed this a few days ago, but have had to take some time to digest it! It's a slow burner, you really need to keep with it as it's jaw dropping in the end! Stunning read.

This book was so good. I couldn’t put it down. The suspense was amazing and I didn’t figure it out until the end.
5 stars

This book was gonna get 4 stars, simply because it felt lack lustre as far as psychological thrillers go up to around 60%. And then I finished it, and it’s gotta be 5 stars. It deserves it for that damned plot twist! I’m getting ahead of myself, no spoilers.
The plot - Emily is a newly qualified nurse, and is desperate for a job. She is requested for by the Roth’s as a personal nurse for Henry Roth’s mentally ill wife, Sabrina. However it turns out, there are darker things in play when it comes to Sabrina’s mental health, and Emily is playing catch up trying to figure out what is the truth, and what are just part of Sabrina’s delusions. This is a psychological thriller, the ending I did NOT expect. Like, at all. It was completely from left field, and I hadn’t even conceived it as a possibility until it was all laid out for me. Obsessed. I was obsessed.
The characters - in some psychological thrillers, the characters tend to struggle to be more than 2D, fitting a specific gimmick, purpose, or red herring role. As it turns out, the characters in this book are complex, intricate characters and I found myself invested in each one. They were thoroughly enjoyable to read about.

Unfortunately i could not get into this book. It was very very slow. I skipped around but still didn't get into it. Seems like an overdone plot.

I read this book within a day, that's how good it is. Just when I thought I'd worked it out ..... bam ....... the author threw another curveball. I can't recommend it highly enough, it's a brilliant read.

What a read! One of the best thrillers I have read this year.
Emily is fresh out of nursing school, commencing an in-home nursing job in the Roth's beautiful mansion. Dr. Roth is a busy psychiatrist, who needs help caring for his wife, Sabrina. Sabrina is mentally unstable and on a combination of medications to help with her mood and delusions. Along with supplying Sabrina with her meds, Emily is also in responsible for driving Sabrina around, cleaning up her messes, and dealing with her attitude. But, the job pays well, and Emily is desperate for money.
Sabrina tells Emily that Dr. Roth is lying and pumping her full of medications in order to keep her imprisoned in the house. Emily is unsure whether to believe Dr. Roth or Sabrina.
This was such an enjoyable read! The storyline sucked me in from the first page and just kept getting better. I did not know who to believe. Every time I thought I had things figured out, Jenna Kernan takes the reader in another direction. This is one you will not be able to put down. It so clever and well thought out. This was an easy 5 stars for me. I cannot wait to read more by Ms. Kernan!
Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
