This book is a quick read and is a memoir of an older woman looking back on her life - her jobs and her relationships. It is like reading someone's diary and I enjoyed hearing about some of the crappy jobs (we have all had at least one!) and the jobs where she felt valued and made friends. She talks candidly about her life to her grandkids and this is what makes the books so appealing. It inspired me to journal my life and job history and reflect on the highs and lows and lessons learned. A poignant and fun read.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC and I left this review voluntarily.
