Cute story. I love the bright and colourful graphics and like that the story involved someone with a chronic illness as that’s not often that appears in books. 💕

This was a cute story about a boy with narcolepsy who is struggling to maintain his social life as his disability begins to negatively affect it. His only solace in this is his grandmother with whom he lives; she seems to be a profound caretaker listening to and respecting his emotional reactions and fears. When he approaches her with complaints of his dreams, she suggests he challenges the creatures who vex his dreams, and in doing so, he lands himself in a strange world where dreams are micromanaged Mr Sandman and Co. If he's not careful, there may be no coming back from this dreamworld.

The art was just as cute as the story. Children will love the bright colors (dreamy, atmospheric hues) and will be given a new perspective to think about through this diverse graphic novel.

Really cool, very surreal artwork. Grams is a lovely character, she's so supportive even though she could be terrified for her grandson. It's great to see someone overcoming something so difficult and still living his life. I enjoyed the book but it just ended so abruptly.

Firstly, the illustrations were bright, fun And magical! I took two stars away from this graphic novel because 1: I’ve come across quite a few works with the same plot and ideas, so I found that the graphic novel lacked a little bit of uniqueness. I also took away another star due to the ending, as it felt a bit rushed and sudden, I didn’t even realise it was the end. That aside however, the novel was fun and enjoyable to read. It’s very short and simple to read, so it is best suited to a younger audience who want a quick and light story. I love idea of of a dream factory, and some of the characters in the novel were fun and charming!! The illustrations certainly add to a magical read. Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with the opportunity to read this graphic novel.

A fun, fast, thrill-ride of a book with a vivid, whimsical artstyle! Andy's narcolepsy takes an exciting turn when he ends up in a literal dreamworld. Andy's relationship with his grandma was very sweet, and I thoroughly enjoyed the colorful cast of characters! I love the worldbuilding and the quick-paced, short length of this book. Looking forward to more in the future!

Interesting graphic novel! Really reads more like storyboards/sequential art for a movie pitch, and reminds me of that old Buzz Lightyear cartoon/movie!

Thank you Europe Comics and NetGalley for the advanced electronic review copy of this book. This very enjoyable book has an interesting concept, beautiful illustrations, and lots of action. The plot could be a bit confusing, but it’s a short, fast read. Great for the mid-to-upper elementary students.

The graphics are amazingly done in this novel about a boy who has epilepsy. He goes into his dreams to try and figure out why he keeps falling
Asleep. The concept is very cool, and actually educational! My son loved it as well.

Andy suffers from narcolepsy, which makes it hard for him to stay awake. His friends end up ditching him after a narcoleptic episode. When he falls a sleep, he somehow manages to escape his dream bubble, which causes a lot of issues for the dream people inside him helping to manage his dreams. He meets a dream person who helps him get a job at the dream factory, only to find out that he (Andy) is the dreamer that escaped his dream bubble and that everyone is looking for. When he wakes up, he finds that his real friends have ditched him, and his grandma is concerned about him. But when grandma has an accident and Andy falls under another narcoleptic spell, will he be able to escape his dream in time to save her?

Overall, I really liked the concept of this book. It was super creative, and explores the difficulties of being narcoleptic, which is a rare topic to read about. The artwork was super colorful and I think it would appeal to kids. There were a few confusing things in the story, one being how the dreamworld was introduced. I also was not a fan of how it ended; I'm curious to know if there is supposed to be more volumes of this? Otherwise, it kind of just ended on an unsatisfying cliffhanger (the plot seemed incomplete). Because of this, I would have to give the book 3/5 stars. I think this would be great for the middle grade audience, and if there does happen to be another volume, I'd be interested in picking it up to see where the story goes.

Thank you so much to netgalley for providing a copy of this graphic novel in exchange for an honest review.

The beautifully illustrated story of a boy who's narcolepsy and falls asleep all the time. Because of his condition, he's able to wake up in the Dream Factory where all the dreams are regulated. But his narcolepsy episodes get more and more frequent....
I really can't wait to read more of this.
