We love seeing Ottos adventures. Definitely recommend. They are one the wordier side so more of a pre-k type book!
Thank you to Netgalley and Book Buzz for the opportunity to read and review this book.
This is a story I recently read to my students, and it is definitely perfect for them. The illustrations are beautiful and clear for what is going on in the story and the story is definitely open for comprehension questions as well. My only nitpick was that I wanted just a little bit more plot wise. Overall, it is one I would recommend educators using. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars.
Hey there, parents and dinosaur-loving kids! I just had to tell you about this super cool book I stumbled upon - Otto's Epic Adventure at the Dinosaur Museum. It's such a fun read! So, this doggo, Otto, gets sad 'cause he's always left behind when Tom goes to the dinosaur museum. But guess what? This time, Otto decides to tag along, and that's when the fun begins! It's hilarious, trust me!
Oh, and the pictures! They're so colorful and awesome! Each page is like a mini dino party! And you know what? This book doesn't just make you laugh; it's got all our favorite dinosaurs! I learned so much from it. Plus, there's this rhyme search and dinosaur matching game at the end – total bonus! Bedtime stories? Yup! Classroom fun? Yup! It's got it all.
Otto is confused and upset when Tom and Granny leave him behind when they go on an outing one day. When Otto follows them, he ends up at the Dinosaur Museum.
So he follows them in and goes from one exhibit to another, trying to locate them. The only problem is, dogs aren't allowed in the Dinosaur Museum!
So when Otto is lost in a daydream of crunching on dinosaur bones, he finds himself in hot water, being chased out of the museum. But by then, Tom and Granny are also ready to leave, so all's well that ends well. It's a cute story with adorable illustrations.
