Otto’s Epic Adventure at the Amusement Park written by Sue A. Stewart with art by Anna Duda is a funny and easy-to-read rhyming adventure. The art is cute and colourful while the storyline is easy-to-follow. There are also some great activities like a word find and word matching game to really get little readers involved.
Little Tom and his family are heading out to have a fun-filled day at the amusement park. Loyal dog Otto is excited to go to the park too but is sad when he has to stay at doggie daycare. However, Otto refuses to be left behind! He sets out on a fun-filled trip through the amusement park to find Tom.
This is an entertaining and quick book! I really enjoyed the first book in the series and this one is a wonderful follow-up. Otto is such a cute and loyal dog to his owner Tom! Otto’s exciting adventure through the amusement park is a fun and quite mischievous romp. The simple and easy-to-read rhyming storyline as well as the short sentences and dialogue make this book very approachable for kids. For the most part, the rhymes are successful but there are a few times when they feel a little forced and do not flow very naturally.
I really enjoyed Duda’s bright full-page illustrations! The amusement park scenes are colourfully eye-catching. Kids will love seeing all the fun and exciting rides like the Ferris Wheel and Haunted House that may be familiar to them. I particularly love the pet parade and all the animals in their cute costumes! Adorable Otto is so sweet–I love his impromptu costume!

An absolute joyride for young readers aged 3 to 6. The story revolves around Otto the dog, who can't bear the thought of being left at the doggie daycare while Tom and his family head to the amusement park. Determined to join the fun, Otto sneaks into the park and hilarity ensues! The book's rhyming narrative keeps children engaged and entertained, making it an ideal choice for bedtime stories and classroom activities. The colorful illustrations add vibrancy to each page, bringing the amusement park rides to life. Children will delight in recognizing their favorite rides and discovering new ones. Moreover, the book includes a word find and word matching game, adding an interactive twist to the reading experience.

And, oh my gosh, the pictures! They're soooo bright and lively! Every page feels like a wild ride through the park! Plus, the rhyming is so catchy; my kid started rhyming everything around the house. Haha! And you know what's cool? There's a word find and word matching game! Like, how rad is that? So, for all the fun-loving families out there, you gotta get your hands on 'Otto's Epic Adventure at the Amusement Park.' Trust me, it's a blast
This was pretty cute! It was hard to read on a phone because some of the find objects were between two pages but it only
Showed one on the phone at a time. Other than that issue it was a cute book about a dog trying to find his family at a theme park. My four year old enjoyed the story and the interactiveness of finding things during the story!
This is a cute book for young children. In rhyming text, it tells the story of a family and dog who go on vacation. Otto does not want to stay at doggie day care and instead follows the family to the amusement park. Oh, the (mis)adventures that he has there though, of course, all ends happily.
This title includes additional activities like search and find puzzles and a matching game.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title. All opinions are my own.
Otto's Epic Adventure at the Amusement Park is a fun story about a dog who goes on a trip to the amusement park with his family. Otto is supposed to stay at the dog park, but he escapes and follows Tom (his human). Follow Otto along on a variety of adventures he has as he goes through the amusement park and experiences rides, foods, and frights.
The illustrations in this book are a fun visual of all the escapades that Otto gets into. The hidden pictures are a nice addition to this story! Great adventure - both for Otto and for the kids who get to read about him!
Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this eARC in exchange for my honest review on the book!
Was OK but my son lost interest after a while while we were reading. I'm not sure why!
The book had vivid colours and the story was good, I do think it was slightly long for his age but I liked that you had to find things and he did too though this didn't work well on tablet form as we had to flick back and forth so maybe it would work better in book format
