Well researched and touching upon a wide array of topics - from sports to animals, weather, nightmares and American presidents - Teaching Time for Kids is a classical collection of facts and unique information - hey, did you know that dogs can be lefthand - sorry, leftpawed - too? It contains illustrations and a quizz at the end of each chapter that can be uhsed to recap what was learned and read about. It can be used as individual lecture, but also as support for classes. The format is quite classical, as it is the writing, focused on many facts and details. It is aimed at children between 6 and 10 years. Parents can use it too, in order to provide their children with an alternative source of knowledge.
This book proves that learning doesn't have to be dull; it's packed with fun facts and quizzes that will keep readers engaged and curious. Each page offers something new, from amazing animals to volcanoes, weather, history, and sports. The quizzes at the end of each section challenge readers' comprehension skills and help them retain essential facts. With a variety of topics, this book encourages curiosity and makes learning cool.
Hey, curious minds out there! I just had the best time reading this new book and it's not your typical boring textbook! This book is like a treasure trove of cool facts and quizzes that make learning a total blast. You won't believe how many exciting things you'll discover - from amazing animals to volcanoes and even some of the former US presidents! I know, quizzes might sound a bit ugh, but they're actually super fun and help you remember all the cool stuff you learn.
I was so curious about each topic that I couldn't put the book down! And guess what? The more curious you are, the more fun it gets! This book is perfect for students of all ages, and it's not just for school - you'll impress your friends and family with all the cool facts you'll lea
I appreciated this book. It had a lot of interesting information in each section and for a child learning to take a quiz/practice sharing what they read; I think the quizzes are a nice feature. I did find the included topics sort of broad though in a way that would make it hard to include for us as a homeschool family. Perhaps as just a car book but would have preferred to see a book on one overreaching topic such as animals, history, or weather.
I also didn't love were the answers for the quizzes were placed. It made it difficult to not read it before you had a chance to answer. My oldest is at the stage where he could read these to himself and having the quiz answers even just upside down at the bottom of the page would have been better I think.
This is going to be great going into my 5th homeschool year! The stories and fact paragraphs are simple enough but interesting for my 3rd and 5tb graders and the visual appearance caught the eye of my 3rd grader- she already practiced a few pages and it’s summer!
Thanks NetGalley for an arc!
