Hey there, parents and teachers, listen up! You won't believe the forest magic in Counting from 1 to 10 and Back Again! It's like stepping into a fairy tale with Peter, Cassie, and their mom, wandering through a lush, dreamy forest filled with cool animals. I'm talking owls, hedgehogs, and deer—oh my! But here's the kicker: they're not just hanging around; they're helping kids learn to count! Can you imagine anything cooler?

I got to admit, I'm blown away by the adorable illustrations that make the woods pop with vibrant colors and cute creatures. And the poems! Oh, they're not just poems; they're like little rhyming songs that make counting feel like a fantastic adventure. This book is perfect for kids aged 3 to 6, and trust me, they'll be begging you for "just one more story" at bedtim

Thank you so much to Peachtree & 12 Publishing and BookBuzz and Netgalley for the ebook to read and review.

Peter, Cassie and their mom are going out on a wonderful forest adventure, to make it educational their mom helps teach them how to count from one to ten as they see all different types of animals living in the woods.

I think this is a really brilliant book, it’s such a perfect tool for helping guided counting, everything is laid out so easily, the flow of it is natural and the progression that the children learn in the book is wonderful.

I loved the they saw different animals though I found parts inaccurate with the animals, which was a little disappointing. It was still great seeing them and using them as the tools to help the children do the counting themselves.

I also really enjoyed that after each set of counting they created a cute poem which was adorable and is another thing that is helpful for teaching children. The illustrations were really great and sweet to look at within the book and I loved how you could could clearly see everything the children were looking at in the page.

This is a wonderful book, a perfect tool and so full of different types of education. From counting, to animals, to poetry. It’s written in a nice easy way so an early readers may be able to read most of it themselves plus had parts of the stories highlighted bigger. I do highly recommend this to anyone wanting to start getting their children counting, it’s fun and makes it easier.

Love the cover, colorful and intriguing! Unfortunately this one was a miss for me. The book itself felt very convoluted and too overstimulating for my type of enjoyment.

Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions.

This wonderful children's book is about two children, Cassie and Peter, and their mom going to take a walk in the forest. They come across different forest creatures and count how many they see. I really like how they incorporated the practice of counting along in the story.
I read this with my 4 year old and she loved counting along and seeing what creatures they find next. It kept her attention and we were both engaged throughout the book.
