Loved the Monty Python type humour of this, and know the children at school will love this too. Very funny book!

This made me laugh a lot. It’s wild and wacky and be perfect for kids. It was a bit outlandish at times for me, but that didn’t stop me enjoying it.

In the year of our Llama 802, utter lunacy was unleashed upon the literary world by the Brothers MacLeod, who brought to us Knight Sir Louis (whose first career choice had been farming, which was unfortunately - or perhaps fortunately - thwarted by an itinerant wicked witch).

Adventuring through his singularly wacky world of giant Distressing Damsels, mechanical steeds and sideways castles is not for the faint of humour.

But if you like alternative comedy, or you're a Monty Python fan, or you really just enjoy having absolute craziness all around you, you should definitely check out this series!

It is a hilarious book. "Bonkers" is a very good word to describe the kind of jokes you get in this book. I think my students would love it, but it will be a bit hard to use this as core text.
