I just could not get into this book. It was gross and and funny which is usually a good thing, but I just could not connect with this story.

Fans of stoner, darkly-funny comedies will enjoy this adventure epic about freelance spies meandering in the streets of Detroit."
I found the dialogue bland and boring when opening this comic. The beginning starts with a radio type show and a morning scene, and like in the morning, I felt tired from reading. The comic begins to open up and you can see the weird art style and characters; but nothing gripped me, nothing made me want to carry on reading. As the comic continued I found myself begin to become more uninterested and the writing or art did not hold my attention.
I did like that as the reader you were dropped into this funky punk world from the get go, with no explanation and no exposition; however I feel like more was needed to grip me. I enjoyed the "advertisements" between the pages with "grancoin". But then there was exposition in the form of articles from the covenant. Unfortunately, this did not tune into my sense of humour either.
