Ghosted is not for everyone, I am sure that there are plenty of people who would not like this book, but I am not one of them. I have a thing about ghost books, in that if the story is girl falls in love with ghost I will read it. I blame reading Meg Cabot's the Mediator series as a tween. So needless to say, I absolutely loved Ghosted. I love that it is a different twist on this rare trope (I won't spoil anything for you). I loved all the characters. It made me laugh, even more surprisingly it made me cry.

This novel is a captivating and delightful read that exudes a fun and lovable vibe. The story is filled with love, mystery, and an irresistible charm that draws you in. The romance between the characters is so compelling that it makes you fall head over heels for the love interest. With its engaging narrative and lovable characters, it is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a heartwarming and entertaining romance novel while keeping you on your toes wondering where the story is going to lead.

This is a funny and sweet romance. Jillian is a relationship specialist who can’t talk to guys, she literally freezes up. When she moves to a new apartment, she finds it’s already occupied by a hottie named David. Unfortunately, David is a ghost and Jillian can talk to him, no problem.
Suddenly they’re falling in love even though they have no future, or do they? 4 stars.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed as in this review are completely my own.

I was very intrigued by the premise of this novel because I had no idea how it could possibly end happily. But Sarah Ready did a great job explaining how exactly things came about and then preceding to resolve it. I really enjoyed the idea and the characters and watching to see things how played out. I look forward to reading more of Sara Ready in the future.
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review.

This is a beautiful paranormal romance story that I have ever read.
Daniel is a handsome ghost who doesn't know he is dead and is staying in a small apartment in NYC with Jilian who owns the place. He is unable to recall his past life or why he is in the apartment.
After the initial shock of seeing each other, they bond and enjoy each other's company. Initially Daniel tries to improve Jilian's dating life, later they get romantically involved which becomes challenging.
I would like to thank the author for the ARC in exchange of an honest review.

This year I was introduced to the genre of paranormal romance so I wanted to give this one a try. Love loved it! Such a cute and creative spin on the romance genre. Lovable, relatable characters, and kept my interest from the very beginning. Have recommended to several others since reading.

I’m not sure how I feel about this one. I have read books that are part ghost romance and I loved them, I just don’t know what happened with this one and why I didn’t have a great time reading it.

Urgh. Can’t even. One of my faves of the year, for sure. This was just 🫠 at so many points. Jillian discovers a ghost in her new apartment, and he seems to know her though he can’t explain why! They develop a wholesome relationship and Jillian finds herself falling for someone who isn’t truly there.
I knew this would break my heart as soon as I started it. I knew they had some deep connection in another time. I knew they would fall in love and it would be impossible. I couldn’t put it down. Jillian and Daniel’s relationship, when it can’t be physical, is so sweet. And when she meets him in real life and he doesn’t know her - 😭😭😭. Her fight for them to get where they are meant to be is beautiful and sad, it left me all over the place in the best way. At the same time, their easy banter and affection for each other is so funny and cute. Also - shout out to that adorable side romance between Hayley and Bernardo ❤️. And, on top of what was already a phenomenal sorry, those epilogues left me deceased - too poignant. Sarah Ready is the queen of amazing epilogues that just totally melt you.
I’m so in awe of authors that can write paranormal romances like this, because it must be so tricky to manage all the components and timelines! Sarah Ready does this masterfully and it’s such a page turner. I honestly think I will read and live anything she writes. I am very confused as to why her books are not a bigger deal?!
What to expect:
- paranormal romance
- opposites attract
- painfully shy FMC
- forced proximity
- soulmates ❤️

Admittedly, this has been on my TBR for a little while but needed something different to read and voilà... I'm so happy I chose this!
Ghosted is my first novel from Sarah and WOW... I was totally blown away! 😳 I enjoyed this book so, so much! Ghosted is not your typical, straight-cut love story, but instead an emotionally charged, paranormal love story, which I could not help but adore 💗
Jillian and Daniel 🩷🫶🏻 one human, one ghost.
Initially, I wasn't too fond of Daniel but then he went and redeemed himself with Jillian bit by bit. The more he brought Jillian out of her shell and gave her confidence, the more we got to see Daniel for who he truly was... and together they were just so perfect! I was rooting for them hard and wasn't entirely too sure how or if they would get their happy ending. Plus, throw in that plot twist, and I was totally invested in them.
Highly recommend this read if you're looking for something extraordinary, with a little twist and sugar dashed in!
🥰
Thank you to NetGalley and W. W. Crown for a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this book! It very much gives "Just Like Heaven" but better (and I do love the original).
The cast of characters is fantastic. We've got: Fran, the meddling aunt-type; the overprotective dad; the sassy best friend; the motley crew of coworkers; the grumpy neighbor. And, of course, our main squeezes: a hot playboy ghost and our adorably shy nerd.
And the story just grabs you by the face and pulls you in. How do Jillian (our adorable nerd) and Daniel (our hot ghost) know each other? What is Daniel's unfinished business? Is he supposed to help Jillian or is Jillian supposed to help him?
I don't often reach for books for a re-read, but I kind of want to dive back into this one even though I just finished it. 10/10 hands down recommend.

I read very few contemporary romance stories as they rarely appeal to me. But I still wanted to try "Ghosted" by Sarah Ready seeing that it was being highly recommended by everyone who have read it. I have to say this book exceeded all my expectations and is a delightful surprise.
"Ghosted" is a different take on the fantastical/paranormal romantic story where in the heroine is a living person and the man she begins to love is a ghost. Strange, isn't it?
In the beginning of the story, we first meet Jillian as she shifts to a new flat that is extremely unique. It is completely covered with mirrors on all sides including the ceiling. Jilian, who is the relationship adviser for a magazine, has a unique problem in that she has never been able to talk when a living, breathing man comes in front of her.
In a stroke of good luck (may be bad too), the first day she has moved into the flat, she comes across Daniel who is a ghost. Though initially wary, she gradually begins to warm up to him and takes him upon his offer to improve both her professional and personal lives. What begins as a help soon morphs into something else when the two begin to get closer to each other.
Do these people actually get to be together? How will the author ever achieve this miraculous feat? Definitely read this book to know what happens further.
I must say, I was extremely sceptical initially. At an important point about half way through the story, I was overflowing with emotions but also with doubts. I was sure the story is going to lose momentum but the author threw in another twist which had me captivated and enthralled with the story. And just when you are thinking that there is no more room for change, the author pulls out another twist out of her hat, which touched my heart.
Author Ready has a crisp and sharp narrative style which she uses to great effect. The narrative never drags; Ready has also managed to connect her readers with the tumultuous emotions that ravage Jilian and thus make us root for her unconditionally.
I had a great experience reading the book and can't wait to read more of Sarah Ready's works.

Super cute and definitely one to add to your TBR list if you enjoy a light book. The main characters play so well off each other the story moves all on its own. No slow spots or plot drops here. Definitely worth your time to check out.

Prepare to be enchanted by Sarah Ready's spellbinding romance, "Ghosted." In this captivating tale, Ready weaves a narrative that seamlessly blends the ethereal with the everyday, creating a world where love transcends the boundaries of time and space.

I had a hard time getting into this book. I'm not sure how I describe it but unfortunately I could not finish reading it. I might give it another try later on but at the moment was not for me.

4 Stars!
Such a cute romance book! I normally wouldn't read a romance book, but this book was too good to not read. I loved the authors humor in the book and made it an easy read.
Jillian & Daniel are the cutest couple and honestly was so heartbroken for Jillian at times. Ghosted was such a good story and the background stories for each character was so good too.
Thank you netgalley for the eARC.

Unfortunately this book wasn't really so much my cup of tea which is a disappointment since it seemed really good based on the description of the book.
I had a hard time getting into it.
I think I will try read another book by this author since I have heard really good things about her other books.

This book was not for me. It was a struggle to get though and some things rubbed me the wrong way. I was disappointed because the premise interesting!

Sarah Ready's "Ghosted" marks my third adventure into her written world, and once again, she delivered beyond my expectations. This book held me captivated, constantly guessing the turns in the plot and anticipating the fate of the main characters.
Jillian, a journalist specializing in relationship advice columns, faced a puzzling dilemma: she struggled to engage in meaningful conversations with men. Her love life was in disarray, her career less than stellar, and to top it off, she found herself in a newly rented apartment, formerly a mirrored sex den, haunted by a shirtless ghost.
Daniel felt an inexplicable connection with Jillian, convinced they'd crossed paths before. However, Jillian vehemently denied any previous encounter, urging him to leave her be. When Daniel learned of Jillian's issue with the opposite sex, he made it his mission to assist her in both her love life and writing compelling relationship articles for the newspaper.
The story's premise, brimming with uniqueness and intrigue, kept me flipping pages, eager to discover how a ghost and a living woman might find common ground, especially since I'm a sucker for happy endings. The nod to parallel universes was a game-changer for me, especially in the captivating dialogue between Jillian and Serena. Sarah Ready's take on this phenomenon was not only intriguing but felt entirely plausible. I revel in romance novels that intertwine scientific concepts, adding depth to the narrative, and Ready effortlessly succeeded in doing just that.
However, two elements nudged this book to a four-star rating instead of five. At times, I found the pacing lagging, particularly in certain chapters where the prior ones brimmed with action and life, causing a slight dip in momentum. Moreover, a few characters felt underdeveloped, leaving their resolutions feeling hurried. As a reader invested in their journey, I wished for more than just a few pages to learn about their fate.
Nevertheless, "Ghosted" remains a commendable recommendation, especially for enthusiasts of witty rom-coms and paranormal romances. Despite some minor areas that felt lacking, it remains a delightful read that will leave you yearning for more. Ready's skillful storytelling and inventive blend of genres make this a worthwhile addition to your reading list.

I really didn’t love this book and I think it’s because it’s so widely popular. It was all right. It was a little bit slow for me and I couldn’t really relate to the characters but I know a lot of people who love it, so definitely give it a chance if you like the tropes listed and Feel like it would be interesting

Ghosted initially confused me but eventually revealed itself as a beautiful and unique romance story. I would say read this book with an open mind. It's a one-of-a-kind read.
The audiobook narration was great as well. I enjoyed listening.
