Cute, whimsical, lovely and relaxing. Just what you need and expect from a book with this title! The images are a delight.

This coloring book was super cute and I wish I had a hard copy for myself as I looked through this. I would definitely buy this for myself if I were to see it in the store.

The theme of this book wasn't exactly what I expected; it isn't very cohesive, but does cover a large range of interests. So, it could come in handy for coloring with a diverse group of people with different interests or backgrounds.

I found some of my favorite things to color: flowers, mushrooms, forest animals, and fairies. There are several pages of my least favorite scenes to color: cottages, buildings, and yucky insects. Bugs and fish are a bazaar, to me, under a Cottagecore theme. So, it is a mixed bag for me.

This book contains mostly mid-level range difficulty of coloring pages. Not a lot of fine details, but enough to entertain yourself for a few hours. I enjoy using my alcohol markers or colored pencils. I couldn't make out whether the illustrations were on one side of the page, or double sided (Digital ARC). The last option wouldn't work due to bleeding through the next coloring .

Let's talk about the paper. I believe the paper is of poor quality, slightly better than computer paper (90-100 gsm). I don't like gray-scale coloring pages. They smudge with makers, & watercolors. Overall, it's ok. Reprinting illustrations on quality paper wastes time, energy and resources, but if you love the artwork, it's worth it.

A perfect colouring book to destress with after a long day. If i had the physical copy I would have started right away. Those toadstools and Hedgehogs were calling my name.

Pros: I love that coloring books for adults are still popular and that their purpose is for relaxation and stress relief. I thought these coloring pages were very well done with lots of detail. The English churches, potting sheds, and country houses and gardens were my favorite pages! I was surprised how many pages are in this book--so much coloring to do!

Cons: None except I wish I had the printed copy of this book rather than the ebook so I could color!

The Ultimate Cottagecore Coloring Book for Adults is a highly detailed collection of greyscale pages collated by Duncan Woodhouse. Released 28th July 2023, it's 110 pages and is available in paperback format.

The pages themselves are detailed and attractive. They're arranged thematically: frogs & toads, magic mushrooms, beautiful butterflies, interesting insects, boot planters, yarn balls, fruit bowls, hammock times, country picnic, tea time, country houses & gardens, potting sheds, farmer's market, English countryside, English churches, gone fishing, country wildlife, cozy nooks, fantasy cottages, wild flowers, fantastical fairies, enchanted forests, and herbology hedgehogs.

There is no text, only the greyscale pages. They seem to be clipart images. There are no attributions contained in the text or credits. Due to the nature of the electronic files provided for review, it's not possible to evaluate the quality of the paper or printing on the final book product.

All of the drawings are attractive and will make nice coloring pages.

Four stars. Retailers' pages have a further sample of contents for evaluation of the drawings themselves. The style is similar throughout.

This is absolutely beautiful! What a lovely colouring book - each and every page is a real treat for the eyes. They say that being in nature, and mindful activities are good for us - this book combines the two! There are some stunning illustrations in here, many of which taking inspiration from nature. The cozy nooks are just breathtaking - I just want to step right into the picture! The picnics look good enough to eat, and the fairies are beautiful. My only wish is that I had a hard copy so that I could start colouring in right away! Would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed the illustrations in this book, though the more "artistic" options were almost too pretty to really think about coloring. I think this book would be a great gift to the adult color-er in your life or even to a nature or cottage-core enthusiast

From frogs and mushrooms to hobbit holes and fairies, cosy spaces and landscapes and flowers and wildlife, this book includes both basic line drawing and more detailed artistic style black and white illustration for your colouring needs.

The artwork is lovely and clear, and this would be a lovely book to colour in while sitting by the window on a cosy, rain day, overlooking the world.
