I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. It's a lovely romcom-type book in an idyllic part of the world. Great characters and storyline.

I am really enjoying this series and I think this is one of my more favourite reads so far. Now, book five in the series, I did wonder how the writer would keep the stories varied: this time, Holly Berry is on holiday in the south of France, leaving her sweet shop behind her. Despite loving the sweet shop setting, it was really refreshing to see the protagonist escape the daily grind of running her business and giving herself some well-deserved “me time”.
I have probably said this before but I will say it again: this is a series that you need to read in order. It’s the only way I think you can truly appreciate the different relationships in the books and, in this case, there are a couple of romantic interests from the past that need navigating. By this point in the series, Holly has had her little baby, Hope, and is now a single mother still running her sweet shop business. I liked how the writer shows Holly’s struggles with adjusting to this new way of life, as well as juggling co-parenting with Ben. I am really intrigued to see what happens with their relationship in future books.
However, with the opportunity of going on her friends joint hen and stag do, Holly sees this as time to relax and unwind. I enjoyed seeing how Holly felt so confused and anxious about leaving her daughter behind and I think Lynn really captures a mother’s anguish over this! Supporting Jamie and Finn, Holly meets Finn’s friends – including the gorgeous Evan. A holiday romance starts to blossom between the two over a very short space of time, but is this serious? And what about Ben and Hope back at home? When a familiar face arrives in France, this sends Holly into even more of a spin.
I really enjoyed how unpredictable Holly’s love life has become. Initially I was frustrated by how difficult things had become with Ben, but now the writer has embraced Holly moving on, I cannot foresee what is in store for Holly in the next book. To be honest, I can’t wait to read what happens next and I will determinedly avoid the blurb so as not to give anything away!
The setting was a welcome change to the book and this meant that Holly was out of her comfort zone of the sweet shop. This book really gives off holiday vibes, making it the perfect beach read. Indeed, my feet were itching with the travelling bug reading this book, showing the escapism it provides.
Light-hearted and fun with a good sprinkling of romance, I loved seeing Holly Berry on holiday and the romance that develops. I have really warmed to her character and am looking forward to what is next in store for her.
With thanks to Boldwood books and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Really enjoyed this book, many laugh out loud moments as Holly continues her life journey, dealing with motherhood and running a sweet shop.
This book is set in France to celebrate Jamie and Finns joint Hen and stag celebrations.
Holly leaves Hope with Ben and her mum
Brilliant characters, great story, pure escapism !
Thank you to Netgalley, Boldwood Books and Hannah Lynn for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review

Loved this book from start to end, easy to read lovely storyline, lighthearted, enjoyable read, just wish i could have enjoyed it while sat round a pool, definitely a holiday read.

Holly reluctantly leaves her village and her baby behind for a getaway with friends, but finds herself torn between enjoying the luxurious villa and missing her daughter. Amidst laugh-out-loud moments and romantic prospects, Holly grapples with motherhood and personal growth. Lynn skillfully portrays Holly's internal struggle and her journey of self-discovery under the French sun. Set in the picturesque South of France, the novel evokes a sense of wanderlust and warmth. As Holly navigates motherhood, friendship, and romance, readers will cheer her on in this heartwarming tale of second chances and the sweetness of life. "Sunny Days at the Second Chances Sweet Shop" is the perfect choice for a feel-good read and a literary escape to the French Riviera.

Lots of heart warming fun. Lovely to carry on the story from the previous books in the series but could also be read easily enough as a stand alone. Old and new characters been away from the sweet shop setting to celebrate Jamie and Finns joint hen and stag party. Romantic, easy entertainment. A good read.
Thank you Netgalley

I really enjoyed Sunny Days at the Second Chances Sweet Shop by Hannah Lynn. A great easy lighthearted read that left me wanting more. In this book Holly leaves her daughter with her dad and goes off to France on a joint hen and stag do with romance the last thing on her mind, but fate had other ideas. Things do not go as planned.

Really enjoyed this book. Great story and characters. will definitely look up the others in this series.

This was okay book for me. I enjoyed ot while readin it, but I don't think I will pick it up to reread it agin.
It was a 3 stars read for me.

What can I say! Book 5 in this sweet series and I enjoyed this one as much as I enjoyed the others. Holly is off to enjoy some time with her girlfriends but misses her baby. Can she relax and enjoy her time away? Will she find what she is looking for and what is she looking for??
This is a fun, enjoyable book to read and a great continuation of the previous four books. But I did miss the sweet shop! A nice read, a few laughs and some heartfelt moments. I love that Holly has time to think and relax on this holiday and in the end will she make the right decisions?
Fun, entertaining, sweet. A nice and enjoyable read.
Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Although I'd enjoyed the first books in the series, I just got to the point where I can't take Hannah at all. She's just horrid. I find her impossible to like and this installment was just not good for that reason.

Holly has just moved into her own house with her daughter Hope when she is persuaded by her friends and family that she needs to go to her friends joint hen and stag do’s as she agreed months before. Holly doesn’t want to leave Hope but Ben ( Hopes dad ) and her mum ( Hopes Gran) finally get her to go
Can Holly relax and have some fun ?

Another great one in the series by Hannah Lynn. This was probably my favourite so far. The only downside was the ending as it seemed a little far fetched but I enjoyed the rest of the book! Very lovely easy read

In this romcom, Holly is taken out of the village and away from her family to spend a few days with her friends on a joint hen and stag do. Staying at a beautiful villa, she finds the life of luxury she has been dreaming of, but of course, misses her baby terribly. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments in this gentle romance, with a fine bunch of varied character and a couple of would-be suitors for her to choose from.
Of course, romance is the last thing on her mind, Holly tells herself. She is a likable and relatable character who can hardly near to relinquish control of her baby to Ben and her mother. However, with encouragement from her friends, she does her best! Holly has some choices to make in this story and surprises herself at some of her accomplishments. I did find the account of the flight out hilarious as no matter how hard she tried to appear cool and sophisticated, fate had other ideas. This is a light-hearted read which has you rooting for Holly all the way.
In short: love and laughter in this escapist romance

Firstly thank you Netgalley for this Arc
Lovely holiday read but missed hearing more about the sweet shop still a good book

I enjoyed reading this book as much as the others in this series, there was only one thing missing and that was the telling off more about the sweet shop. The series is after all about the Second Chance Sweet Shop. This was set in France with Holly and her friends, great book as it was please bring back the shop in the not too distance future. Well worth 5 stars.
Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this ARC

Her best friend's hen do is a getaway to France
To stay in a villa there - dare Holly really take a chance?
She's never left her baby daughter for so long
Should she go or would it be wrong?
There's really no excuse not to go enjoy the sun
And hopefully have the chance to relax and have some fun!
It is a joint party with the stags going along, too,
So all Holly needs is to get there and join in what they do.
The villa is to dream for - and there are surprises galore, too,
With close friends and new ones, and plenty of things to do!
Is this just a chance to relax or could it lead to more
As the area and activities the hens and stags explore.
A heartwarming story of indecision, choices and romance
Should she be reticent or prepared to take a chance?
Is this the stuff of nightmares or a dream come true?
With added mystery and suspense, a great read for me and you!
For my complementary copy of this book, I say thank you,
As I share with you this, my honest review.

This is a delightful, warm and cosy read. Hannah writes such heart warming books and never fails to disappoint.

What a lovely book this was. I enjoyed this one very much and found myself reading when I should have been doing other things. I do hope there is more to come in this series. My thanks to netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.
