I work in a school that follows the Little Wandle Programme and this title caught my eye straight away as a topic that is loved by our year 3 students. This would really enhance our topic learning on Egyptian Gods and Goddesses as a link between our Reading, Writing and history topics and provides a really child friendly version of many of some of the stories we already teach. The bonus content with facts about Egypt is an added bonus, exposing children to some key facts surrounding our topic. The stories are clearly written and really accessible for developing readers. The pictures are bright and engaging and would really capture a child’s interest.
One I’ll definitely be adding to our bookshelves!
