**Listened to the audiobook**

Firstly, I have to say - this book is not original, the plot lines/subplots have all been told before - same old troupes, nothing new. But I still enjoyed this book.
The book had a lot of heart and the characters felt so real. I genuinely wanted to know what happened to them. The mood and atmosphere of the book was just so warming and cosy.

The narrator was OK - but I think I would have preferred it if there was a different narrator for the different central protagonists.

I absolutely loved this book! I am so grateful to Net Gallery, the publisher and author for allowing me to receive an ARC.
This story was so heart wrenching and beautiful. Anna and Gabe begin as classmates working on a college project together and this story spans over 15 years and tells of how their relationship builds over the years. I could feel the connection they had and was cheering for them throughout the entire book!
I loved Anna’s story and how she was able to create the life she did, things could have been a lot different if she didn’t have the determination she did.
I loved Gabe’s family and how welcoming they were of Anna, and never judged her and her situation.
The only thing I didn’t like was the ending felt very abrupt, I was left wanting more. Otherwise it was a great read! Highly recommend

I absolutely adored this book, and I am more than grateful that I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review - thank you NetGalley, the publisher and to the author for this. This book definitely goes on my fave list.

If you love romantic books and you are okay for your heart to be broken so many times and the stitch back together by the end of the book I would say go for it. You won’t regret it.

I don’t want to give any spoilers or not even an idea as it might spoilt it, but they way the author created the characters and they feel so real, with real feelings its just amazing.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for this audio ARC. This was a heartwarming story of two characters named Gabe and Anna. I loved how it was a more realistic take on a cute romance novel. They first start as friends and over a timeframe become more. You get to see their lives over the course of several years and it’s such a beautiful journey. I recommend this novel to those who also enjoy friends to lovers.

Wow I really enjoyed this book! I am definetley a sucker for anything medical related.
This was my first Melissa Wiesner book and won't be my last!
An absolutely unforgettable and heart-shattering romance, perfect for fans of Colleen Hoover, Lucy Score and Carley Fortune, that does keeping secrets destroy true love?

Anna works two jobs to get herself through college and never, ever talks about her family. It’s easier to keep her distance from everyone until she can finally leave her old life behind. That is, until chance throws her together with Gabe …

Gabe is top of the class, in a fancy fraternity, and has a big, perfect, warm-hearted family. He is everything Anna is not. Their connection is undeniable. His silver-blue eyes pierce right through her, and he makes her laugh in ways she never thought possible. But Anna would do anything to stop Gabe from discovering her darkest secret, and the real reason she goes home every night to a cold, silent apartment…

When Gabe and his family get close to the truth, Anna runs, vowing to never see them again. But forever is a long time…

Years later. Tragedy brings Anna back to the town she grew up in—a place she escaped a decade ago. When Gabe wraps his strong arms around her, it’s like finally finding home.

But when the truth comes out after all these years, will both their worlds come crashing down? Gabe is the one person Anna trusts but what if he has secrets, too? And how much pain can two hearts endure, before they are torn apart forever?

It All Comes Back to You will make you laugh, cry with both joy and pain, and hold your loved ones tight.

Wow, I can't even begin to express how much I freaking loved this audiobook! It's like I got lost in this whole other universe where these two amazing young people were destined to be tight like crazy. Seriously, the length of the book didn't even matter because I was so hooked, I would've gladly listened forever.

The way these characters clicked, man, it was like they were meant to be BFFs or even more. And let me tell you, the rollercoaster of craziness they went through, one tragedy after another, it's like I was on this emotional ride with them. And you know what? I was totally blindsided by how much I cared about them. Like, I'm talking I actually felt their highs and lows, and that's saying something.

But here's the kicker, there's this mind-blowing twist that just sucker-punched me right in the feels. I never saw it coming, and I was left all stunned and amazed. I mean, whoa, the way their friendship evolved through all that mess, it was seriously like watching a masterpiece in the making.

Honestly, by the time I hit the last chapter, I was like a mix of satisfied and kinda sad it was over. This audiobook, man, it's like this emotion-packed journey that made me laugh, gasp, and yeah, even tear up a bit. Definitely something that's gonna stick with me for a long time. If you're into characters that feel as real as your own crew, and a story that's all about life throwing crazy curveballs, then this is totally your jam.

Anna is sixteen, dually enrolled in high school and college, and has some big secrets about her family and home life. She is good at being invisible. Then she is paired with Gabe, frat guy and college senior from a large, wealthy family, for a big school project. There begins Anna's problems. Gabe SEES her. He picks up on the things she so desperately tries to hide- that she is always hungry, her mother never seems to be around, she is always exhausted. They work on their project at his parents' home and they quickly envelope her into the family. They have a huge fight right before Gabe leaves for grad school. Over the next decade and a half, Gabe and Anna are in and out of each others' lives. But when they come together, it is always like they were never apart.

I loved this story of friendship, family, and love. I loved the bond between Anna and Gabe. The middle portion was not my favorite- when they'd have a brief encounter once every few years- but the beginning portion was so good, it didn't even matter.

The audiobook is narrated by Kate Handford, who does a great job. It was a little slow and I did speed it up. (I start everything off at 1.5 and adjust from there. The app I used only goes up in increments of 0.25, so I ended up listening to this at 1.75. I debated going to 2.0 and probably could have.)

I received an audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book had heart and soul. It was instantly gripping and pulled me into the world of Anna and Gabe. I adored both characters and was rooting for them the entire way. There are so many things to ponder (and feel) while reading this book.

Anna has not had it easy. Not by a long shot. She works two jobs and is taking a college class when she meets Gabe. She keeps everyone at arm’s length and will not discuss her family. She is very private, kind, has admirable goals, and is determined. Gabe is outgoing, from a loving and well-off family. He is intelligent, a member of a fraternity and kind. Anna and Gabe form a fast friendship and enjoy spending time together. Gabe's family also enjoy having Anna around and everyone becomes concerned when they learn about Anna's circumstances but instead of talking it out, Anna runs...

As both characters age, and go on with their lives, their friendship endures. They have their ups and downs but always come back to being friends. Will their friendship survive their secrets?

As I mentioned there is a lot of food for thought and lessons in this book. This book touches on learning to trust, overcoming obstacles, finding your family, and accepting help to name a few. I also enjoyed the characters in this book. Gabe's family was wonderful and who wouldn't want to spend time with them? Plus, the characters in this book deal with realistic issues. Not everyone is a great communicator, that takes time and trust.

This is a friends to lovers book that brilliantly showed an evolution of relationships. I appreciated how their friendship started and how each grew during their friendship. This book is not a steamy bodice ripper but a rewarding journey that took the characters time to make.

I found this book to be well written, heartbreaking, heartwarming and hard to put down. I had both the book and audiobook. I enjoyed the audiobook narration and thought it was well done. This was my first book by Melissa Wiesner and I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

Never judge a book by its cover...we all know...but sometimes it pays off to do just that....and It All Comes Back to You was one of those for me! I devoured this audiobook in less than a day. Melissa Wiesner, you created characters that I instantly fell in love with, and also had moments of frustration with if I'm being honest.
This story has it all...friendship, family and that slow burn, not in a graphic way so for those of you who don't love things going past PG, you're safe with this one!
I will be telling friends about this book because I loved it and was hooked from the start.
Thank you to NetGalley for this audiobook in exchange for my honest review. I ran back to NetGalley so fast to see if her upcoming novel was listed because I've now found another new favorite author!

It All Comes Back to You by Melissa Wiesner has left me feeling so much. I felt so overwhelmed by my emotions, that I had to sit on this a few days after finishing the book before I decided to reflect on it.
The characters were created so beautifully, I felt a strong connection to Anna and Gabe. It's impossible not to think about them long after the book is read. The story is well executed and draws the reader in. I have never read a book by Melissa Wiesner and it has been an absolute pleasure reading this one.
I would like to thank Bookouture Audio and NetGallery for exposing me to yet another wonderful author!
This book has most definitely left me with a book hangover. I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys reading authors like Colleen Hoover and enjoy a slow-burn, friends to lovers emotional romance.

Wow wow wow!! This is a must read for romance lovers. The journey that the two main characters take is so heartbreaking and beautiful and you can't help but want the best for them. This book kept me hooked the entire time. I just loved Gabe's whole family and how they welcomed Anna immediately with open arms. The relationship between Anna and Dorothy was so sweet. Anna's journey to find information about her mom and to recover from the trauma caused by her was so heartbreaking. I honestly wish it was longer, I didn't want it to end!

This is my first Melissa Wiesner book and I can’t wait to read more from her!

I absolutely loved this book! At times Anna would frustrate me when she wouldn’t take the help and support offered to her. But as I kept reading I understood more and more her trust issues. Gabe and his family were so kind hearted. This story hit too close to home, as I have been in some similar living situations and I was so blessed to have a “Weatherall” many times in my life.

My favorite part, the part that had me crying the most, was when Anna finally accepted the fact that THEY were her family and described how each and every member was there for her in their own way. We need more people like this in our world, selfless and willing to help someone without expecting anything in return.

I enjoyed both of the main character’s growth and how their relationship shifted from friends to lovers.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read this advance copy!

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this audio ARC. I clearly not the norm in my review. I really liked this premise of this book but quickly found myself annoyed with the main characters. The "secrets" were anticlimactic, and the reactions of the characters was childish. My eyes are stuck up from all the eye rolling.
