Once again has managed to write a fun, hilarious romance. I enjoyed it immensely, with the cast of characters leaving me giggling over their antics. Of course, the overbearing Blaine (onmigoodness, what a name) was the uber pain from the beginning. This was a delightfully seasonal new adult Rom-Com for you to enjoy this Halloween season!

Undead. Romantic, Comedy needs to be a new thing! This is perfect for a fall/Halloween book to dive into! Hazy the humas and Godric the vampire. Emotional and steam are the best and they have both at the beginning you can tell Godric is struggling or pulling away but Hazy pushes through that! Knight tries not have the 3rd party character (the ex) over shadow what's going on with the build of the relationship. You also throw in brother humor and I think we readers all hope they get stories too!

Set in college and filled with pre-med student life, My Boyfriend is a Vampire is perfect for the spooky season and filled with fun banter, quirky and charming (and some not-so-charming) characters, and a story that will entertain you until the end.

I’m all for deep and emotional romances, but sometimes you just need a sweet, lighthearted, and fun new adult romance, and this one fits the bill nicely.

3.5-3.75 stars. This was a cute read! My Boyfriend is a Vampire is a standalone book by Helena Hunting writing as Eva Knight. This is her first foray into paranormal romance. It is Godric and Hazel/Hazy's story. Hazy is pre-med in college, living a typical student's life of partying and classes. She meets Godric when he moves in nearby and is in one of her classes. There is an attraction between them and eventually they begin dating, only for Hazy to find out that Godric is keeping a big secret. He is actually a centuries old vampire.

This was a fun story. I liked Godric and Hazy. I do think the character's felt a little young at times and their mindsets a little less mature than I usually read. I also think they lacked some chemistry. But I still liked them as characters and thought they were a good match. The pacing was a little meandering. But I was intrigued enough by the story to keep reading. The paranormal aspect was fun and well-written. I liked Godric's brothers, also vampires, and I would love to see this become a series where they get their own books.

Overall, this was a good read. Godric and Hazy were sweet together and I was happy that they found each other. I look forward to more from this author and can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

The nerdy & loving dynamic between them was just so sweet!

I don’t normally read paranormal but since this one was written by one of my favorite authors I thought to give it a try. I am pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this this. It wasn’t too strong on the paranormal end. There was a lot of rom com, which I thoroughly enjoyed. If all paranormal books were written like this one I would definitely read more of them.

As a big fan of this authors other works/genres under another name, I just knew, without a doubt I had to read this. I’m not one for reading paranormal books usually but I adore this authors words and books and knew I was going to read it. Sometimes you go into something expecting one thing and get delivered another and this book was exactly that! Eva Knight did absolutely brilliant on this book! As a first time paranormal writer this book was so addictive and fun to read!

Hazy and Godrick were so much fun to follow! Their story had me hooked from the get go and invested until the last page. I can not even describe just how much I loved Godrick, that man was absolutely swoon worthy. He’s so insanely sweet and the way he treats Hazy…be still my beating heart. Hazy was so much fun, she brought the humour and I just absolutely loved her!

Together they were perfection and all I did was have the heart eyes for them both haha.

I have to give credit to this author for going out of her comfort zone and bringing us such a fun YA paranormal Collage romance. I was completely blown away but had no doubt whatsoever that this book would be amazing.

My boyfriend is a Vampire had the perfect amount of romance, humour, sarcasm and angst. If you’re looking for something different to your normal romance give this beauty a chance.

Honestly, if I didn’t know Eva Knight was a pen name for Helena Hunting (who is one of my absolute favourite authors) I wouldn’t have even bothered with this book. But I’m glad I read it!

My Boyfriend is a Vampire is a RomCom with a vampire which is funny and steamy. It is absolutely the perfect rom-com to sink your teeth into!

Hazy and Godric are the perfect pair. They’re both science nerds & they’re very attracted to each other. Godric is a totally hottie. He’s also a super natural being and it comes as a total shock to Hazy that her perfect boyfriend is a vampire. These two get a little freaky in the sheets (which I would totally expect this from a Helena Hunting book). And such terrific characters! Please, please let Godric’s brothers Hunter & Laz get their own books!

This book was so cute, and I really enjoyed Helena Hunting (aka Eva Knight) dipping her toes into the paranormal world and I really hope this series gets to continue with the brothers!!

The premise and school setting reminded me of an adult twilight, but the execution was very different and unique!
Hazy and Godric were adorable and I loved their science nerd hearts and how much experimenting and analysis they loved to do! On the one hand I feel like their story wrapped up nicely, on the other I feel like I don’t have enough and I want to see where they are 10, 20 and 50 years down the line!

I absolutely loved this book from the first page and couldn't put it down. It was witty, laugh out loud funny and spicy. I loved Hazy and Godric so much, i loved Hazy besties and God's brothers i did love Laz the most!!! The book just pulled me in and I loved the story so much as it just kept getting better as the chapters moved on i was so sad when it ended and just wanted more. Fab book!!

With such an oversaturation of anything related to vampires in the media, this book was such a fresh and delightful take on vampires in the modern world. Especially with the spice...wink wink. This book was such a page turner as I was constantly wondering when it would be revealed that Godric was a vampire and even doubting myself about whether he even was one with how well he was acting like a human!
4/5 Stars for me since it was such a delightful read but I was hoping for a little more conflict/mystery, something that I wouldn't be able to stop talking about due to the emotions I would be feeling.

Eva has crafted a delightfully sweet and charming paranormal romance that’ll have you utterly entranced. This story is the perfect combination of laugh out loud moments mixed with those steamy times everyone loves! And the characters have the kind of banter that you can’t help but love. This book checked all the boxes for a fun quick weekend read. I thoroughly enjoyed my first foray into Eva’s writing and I can’t wait until her next book.

This is a college paranormal romance with vampires. When Godric and his brothers move into the abandoned house down the street, Hazy is instantly intrigued and drawn to Godric.

Did I mention how much fun I had reading this? Vampire romances are the OG age gap trope. In true Helena fashion, this one was spicy with some twists thrown in due to him being a vampire! Lots of humor, banter, and sparks throughout.

Science nerds rejoice. There’s a lot of talk of science labs and scientific research which I loved and can forgive the bits that weren’t quite accurate because this book was so entertaining. Hazy’s reaction to finding out her boyfriend was a vampire was fun because she literally studied up on it and then peppered him with lots of questions. That’s something I’d do. 😂

I really hope that Godric’s brothers get their own stories. I also need to know if Hazy and Godric find a way to be together long term because this one is a HFN.

If you like paranormal romcoms or Helena Hunting’s writing, I think you’ll love this one.

So, I think this author got her start with Twilight fan fiction which turned into books we know and love later? But this book definitely goes back to those roots. As a Twilight fan myself, I saw all the similarities in this story. However I enjoyed the way the author turned those into new twists and turns in the story, and even just made it her own story as well, not just a copy. Also this is set as a New Adult series, set with college aged characters, for the most part. I mean, obviously the vampire characters are older.

It was a lot of fun to see the science aspect that the characters had in being pre-med, as well as just what the vampires in this iteration were like. There was actually another magical aspect with a half vampire/half wizard character. Since this was NA it definitely had the sexy times, with frat boys and frat parties, and all the steamy scenes between Hazy and Godric.

This was a fun and easy read. I can see possibly getting the stories of Godric’s brothers maybe at some time in the future if this one does well enough.

I would expect nothing less from HH, also known as Eva K. This was a super fun read, especially this time of year.

I know you’re thinking it’s just another vampire story but you would be dead wrong my friend (no pun intended). The Hawthorne brothers Godric, Hunter & Laz have transferred to Burnham college for their senior year but you will soon find out it’s not the first time. Hazy(Hazel),her roommates Alyssa & Satya run into the brothers as they are cleaning up their house on Frat row; which is unfortunately across the street from Hazey’s Ex Blaine the pain. This becomes a problem when Blaine becomes fixated on Hazey & Godric’s relationship. My Boyfriend is a Vampire it’s funny quirky and a paranormal rom com at its best. Thank you Eva Knight (Helena Hunting) your story is pure magic just in time for spooky Season.

Goodrich and Hazy’s story had the perfect Halloween five! These two are quirky and a little nerdy but oh so swoon worthy! I really enjoyed it and I hope the other characters like hunter gets his own book. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.
