This was a pretty decent follow up to the first book in the series. I enjoyed the story and enjoyed where the book is going.
I enjoyed this title much more than the first! While book one certainly set up the series and world with enough enjoyable moments to keep me reading, book two takes the issues I had and neatens up all the rough edges. The characters seem more well-rounded and real, the grammar is vastly improved, and the plot is more cohesive and easier to follow while still leaving you guessing.
I look forward to seeing how this series progresses and how the authors matures further in his own writing journey!
