Mal and Grace are reunited in this story after a previous breakup, they need to learn to overcome their past whilst dealing with the present. This book is fast paced, action filled with danger thrown in for measure.

Reunited with Grace, the woman he loved but lost, Mal has to protect his heart. Grace left Mal when her sister died, full of grief and guilt to be with her Grandmother. Her research, reputation and life are in danger, and they must work together. I like the romance, the suspense and the dynamic between the brothers in the security team, but the pacing is slow in parts, and some of the dialogue seems a little detailed.

A bit mad, full of high octane attacks, deaths, kidnapping attempts, and a lovely love story running through it all. The will they, won’t they, is central to the plot but the suspense around it all is plausible and the who done it, is a good one. The suspects are memorable and the author makes it easy for us to follow. A great read.
