I liked this book and I would happily read the next instalments in the series. 3.5 stars.
It took me a while to get into the writing style and often times there were descriptions that were just confusing.
I loved the betrayal and the thirst for revenge within the story, however I felt that the ending was a bit rushed and fell short of what could have been,
The romance was cute, and passionate but there was a scene in which the MMC re-enacts the FMC's sexual assault which was questionable at best. I almost DNF the book here but persevered as the rest of the story was good.
Selected as the bride of a mafia Don at 25. He only wanted what was perfect and that was what he got. Or did he? Don and Donna worked together to oust the traitors in the Mafia. Murder is on the cards.
Looking forward to finding out what happens next. Twisted family story with a happy ending in the first book. Abit of spicy, Romance and thriller.
Roll on book number 2.

Blue Bloods tells the story of Ana who marries a mafia don after his parents had both been killed. After becoming don he targets businesses that aren’t making enough profits for him which includes someone named Vitello. Ana’s family is not impressed with these choices as they have large stakes in Vitello’s businesses causing a lot of tension. There is a lot of betrayal in Blue Bloods between different high ranking families and I did not expect the ending at all. However, I did find that the writing style was hard to get into at first. It is written in third person and I did find at some points there was random bits written in first person. I feel this would have been better written from Ana’s POV. I also felt that the ending was maybe a bit rushed and would have liked to see more of Ana at the end but I did really enjoy the romance aspect of this novel.
this is Authors 1st book and it's amazing. so very much enjoyed. Ana is to marry the Don. Gio Bernardi. she has been promised to him. Ana was adopted. buy the high-powered family in Pittsburgh. her aunt has been the one to bring her up the grandfather unloving. People think she cold and proper. But Ana is a very clever woman Gio is still trying to find out who killed his parents. but Gio and Ana get on well. the schemes are amazing. Ana has a secret. still has nightmares this book is about love lies deceit and power i so can't wait to read the next book in series pulled me in from page one.
I really wanted to like this book but it fell flat for me and didn't keep my interest, more about the mafia than the 2 main characters!
Thanks Net Galley for allowing me to read and review this book!
Ana and Gio arranged to be married, both with baggage full of pain and hurt. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Great character development and the story really draws you in. There could’ve been more explanation as to some of the characters and I feel like I missed some detail and explanation. 4 ⭐️ and 3 🔥

I could not connect with this book. It felt a bit disjointed and all over the place. It started off good but got off track for me quickly.

Gio, the Don, is getting married and Ana is a nervous wreck. It could be a whole lot worse than it is for her. Little did Ana know how much her life was going to change once she was married. There will be betrayals, hurt, death, and broken hearts. Will they be able to make it trough it all together? I loved this story and can’t wait to hear Emma or Tony’s story next! The book wasn't bad per se, but I wouldn't describe this as a mafia romance.
Unfortunately, the romance aspect of it is pretty diluted and used sparingly. It mostly takes us on a tour about mafia affairs, business, and a lot, really a lot of revenge planning and scheming.
Ana and Gio didn't have that great of chemistry. I accepted the relationship merely because it was presented to me, nothing else.
