This is a great collection of Rebel Girls books.
Each book has 10 short bios in a very accessible language, to aim at a younger audience. Still, it's interesting and informative for adults.

I liked the diversity in these books, both in race, geographical region, and time period. It was a nice detail to have current role models for young girls.

As in other editions, I think the QR is a smart idea to make a more immersive reading experience.

Overall a great addition to the Rebel Girls books. It works great as a collection with all the books keeping the same structure and changing color.

This is an amazing collection of stories for young girls. I enjoyed reading these with my daughter and will suggest these for other young girls to learn true stories of strong women role models.

I loved this book. I feel like it is perfect for classrooms, or homes, or homeschooling kids aged 7-12. I would share this with my 12 year old in 7th grade, who would find the writing a bit below her level, but the content would be right up her alley.

I thought each story was well written, I appreciate the diversity of subjects, both in race, and in geographical region as well as time period. I also loved that the authors included folks who had been after 1995, giving the kids some younger role models.

There were a couple of folks I really am not sure I would consider appropriate (Bindi Irwin for example) because they don’t seem to be as grounded in actual education, or research, and I am torn on the ethics of Zoo Australia, for example (some of the shows are unnecessary and too risky). But overall, I felt most examples were excellent.

A stunning collection of 10 Rebel Girls books, each containing at least 10 biographies of amazingly talented and inspirational women divided into categories: music; science; art; animal lovers; movie makers; inventors; sportswomen, dancers; explorers and those who help others. Each biography is accompanied by a beautiful illustration, and whilst targeting strong readers from 6-8 years, the detail is appealing to all age groups. Many of the biographies also boast a QR code, which leads you to further audio stories. This is a wonderful collection and a must-have for fans of the Rebel Girls books and podcasts. #rebelgirlslittlelibrary #rebelgirls #netgalley

There is something for every young girl in this series. Separated by category, there are several smaller books that make up this collection. There are so many wonderful role models and inspiring females featured. I love the qr codes so readers can go online for additional information and activities. It is a great collection for young readers.

Thank you to Rebel Girls for inviting me to review this book.

There are 10 books in this collection with 10 short bios in each book. The narrative style is the same as any other Rebel Girls book with a single illustrated full page with three pages of text for each entry.

I do wonder how different these bios are from the original entries in past Rebel Girls books, but I wasn't able to verify.

This collection of inspiring stories about courageous women and girls would make an excellent addition to any girl’s library.

I loved the diversity of women represented in these books. These books will inspire future activists, scientists, athletes, artists, and more!

The artwork throughout the book is vibrant and powerful.

It was refreshing to see young achievers of today featured alongside historical female figures. Well done!

Love the QR code included throughout this collection.

The illustrations of the women discussed in this book are cool and artsy.

Although these books are geared for an elementary age audience…as an adult reading these books I found them interesting and informative. I learned about so many impressive women I never heard of before.

This collection of inspiring stories about courageous women would be a great addition to any girl’s library.

An excellent selection of women and girls to inspire and empower the generation of girls coming through today. The range of countries that the stories come from, alongside the amazing array of different talents is phenomenal. I can see every young girl reading this identifying with the names and the feelings of the stars in the book. There is a future graffiti artist out there, there are animal rangers, activists and inventors. The book shows that absolutely anything is possible by anyone.
The information is well laid out and in bite-sized bits that make it ideal for a bedtime read. The images are fresh and modern and make this a must-read for me.

This is a fantastic collection of true stories aimed at inspiring young girls to be the best they can be. They’re written in such a way that they’re only pithy, whilst getting the message across, so they’d work for either young children to read on their own, or with parents. I’m going to buy these as gifts for my friends kids as I think they’re great, though be aware they do contain some sensitive themes which parents may wish to consider whether to broach with their kids, depending on age, like racism and transgender, though particularly with the racism elements, it’s handled well and should be a good way for parents to teach their children about this

The idea of having a box set with various 'little' versions of the larger books it really, really cool. I think having a few different books that focus on woman who did different things allows for a lot of variety without needing to purchase the other books which is especially great for families or classrooms. I like how the writing is understandable for children and that the stories aren't super long so they wouldn't cause attention to be lost. I think having a mix of historical or more recent figures is also really good, allowing for kids to see people in real time who are doing these things. Overall, I do just really love the concept of the Rebel Girls books.
